Kystridas, being some... beast bird thing (lel prob a gryphon riiite?) WOULD have been an absolute scourge upon the land, having strength and magic higher then that of 5 adult dragons. But, as fate would have it, divine forces above got yo mortal backs, coming down from the greater planes of... divine origin, and being all like "Yo, why u hackin fam?" and Kystridas was all like "fuck you, I just grinded scrub players til max level, not my fault I'm good at min maxing this game..." The divines, clearly not impressed were all like "cool cool, but, we're going to ban you if you don't nerf it with these bangles you can never take off and even then you're still kinda strong, so you're punished to an isle of unknown location to guard our shit, cool? cool."
COOL STORY RIGHT?, right. 4 bangles now suppress this guardian's power, they can sorta be seen as a genie's shackles perhaps? Although he's not going to grant wishes... unless having your face eaten is a wish, he could grant that pretty easily. Really though, don't approach the isle for... obvious reasons, for there is only death and misery.
Personality wise, Kystridas is a troll, a prick, hates doing his job and would rather just be lazy and eat and drink and sleep, the GOOD LIFE stuff. Thankfully, most of the time he is actually able to do that on his private little prison island. This life after decades has humbled him just a little though, so any company/intrusion he does get, he'll seek to amuse himself with, more then just being a straight up asshole to whomever it make concern... most of the time, he's got an obligation to kill you after all, he might just have fun with you before you die, just like a giant winged cat with a mouse. Ahh, isn't nature wonderful? That's not to say he can't maybe be reasoned or bribed in some way however... he is a beast at heart, while intelligent, is capable of negotiation... maybe, I wouldn't try it personally.
That being saaaaaid, after years of experimenting, Kystridas -has- unfortunately found loopholes in his prison system, sometimes the divines 'aren't watching' 24/7, or he is able to sneak off undetected for a small time frame, leaving mortal life in serious danger of his presence and general tormenting personality. Thankfully the folk who do know of this occurrence, know he is never around for long, as he cannot be to risk being 'discovered' out of confinement. If he were to attack, seek shelter, don't go outside, ride out the storm as it comes, and it will be gone before you know it. While he is a dangerous force when he does escape, he is no stronger then a dragon as the binding shackles still reduce his powerlevel quite significantly. yeah yeah, I know, omg powers, who fucking cares, just eat me ffs.
In this chat setting, just assume he is a normal beast, unless you know his backstory, it's likely at the time upon discovery that if he's not on the island and hanging around this chat's w/e backstory/setting, he's escaped and he's on the lookout for some TAKE OUT TO GOO. And by that, you're probably the Mcdonalds happy meal he's ordered and about to pig out on.
