Description

Other than her general stats above, Riley is a rat with white fur and red eyes, making her of the albino variety. She has long purple hair atop her head (it's not dyed, there was a bit of an accident in the lab) and usually has the faintest of scents of, of all things, gingerbread about her (again, accident). She's usually clad in a skirt, a blouse, and her labcoat. Riley is a little bit nearsighted, so she always is wearing her glasses.

Personality and Backstory
"You say 'mad scientist' like it's a bad thing."

Riley's childhood is something that she generally doesn't talk about. It was before she came into her own and, thus, unimportant. What does matter is that she wasn't even fully into her teens when she started attending college... and then proceeded to get her PhD in record time. She's a smart rat, if a little bit scatterbrained sometimes, so once she was out in the 'real world', she set about getting a job within a laboratory setting. The irony doesn't escape Riley at all.

Nowadays, Riley can be found either in the lab, at a side job in a doctor's office (which she technically runs), or in various locations, tinkering with same latest gadget or mixing up some mysterious serums. Riley is driven by a need to know and understand everything, so if something/someone manages to catch her interest, she won't leave it/them alone until her curiosity has been satisfied. This, of course, tends to lead to her getting into trouble on a regular basis. FOR SCIENCE!

Experiments

When it comes to her experiments, Riley isn't above 'volunteering' test subjects to try out her gadgets, serums, etc. If she can't find a 'willing' volunteer, she's not above testing things on herself. This, of course, has led to her physiology getting changed on a regular basis. To combat the problems this would obviously cause, she has developed and perfected a device she calls the 'Genetic Cleanser'. This device essentially 'resets' her DNA back to where it started at, unless she tweaks the device so that she can keep certain assets.

Current Gadgets

Genetic Cleanser (100% completed): As noted above, a device used to 'reset' the DNA of the user back to a base point, thus negating any changes that occurred after that.

Zero-point Transfer Device Mk.II (15% completed, needs testing): For lack of a better term, a teleportation device. There are still a few quirks and bugs with its interface, but at least it's better than the Mk.I

Material Phase Displacement Device (10% completed, needs testing): A device designed to make the user incorporeal. Early tests yielded a problem in the form of the user being unable to use the device anymore because they couldn't touch anything solid. Hopefully, that little bug has been fixed.

OOC Notes

-First and foremost, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation are a must! If I have to translate what you're typing, I'm going to get a little bit frustrated and neither of us will have any fun.
-Despite being a rat, Riley is both predator AND prey. She just tends to end up on the menu more often than not.
-No HV. I can't express this enough. If you want to rip her apart, Riley will blast you into the elemental plane of suck.
