LadyOdette
"Your flattery brings naught but a chuckle. Begone."
Vryloka. To some, that word brings fear. To others, they can barely tell the race apart from vampires. But Odette could tell you the difference in a heartbeat, preferably over a glass of what yours helps to flow.
She would ask kindly, of course! It would be rude of a Paladin to take blood like some brute. Indeed, she may not look it, with her cloak and bodice, her tempting visage hidden in shadow. She appears more the sort to be an Assassin or a Thief, but no. The lady has chosen a slightly (but only slightly) holier profession, serving some obscure God of the Seas to which many a jolly sailor hail, and doing battle with a particular nasty brood of the undead. As such, however, she's seen as a traitor to most of her kin, whom see the ascension to pure Vampirism as a blessing. But Odette would beg to differ.
"... I already bear enough guilt for what I need to take to survive. Why would I plunge myself further into the blood lust? What point is eternity without purpose?"
And so she fights, championing the simple cause of keeping the islands she calls home safe. But there must be more to this lass than she implies... Again, only one way to find out.
