The Lady of Two Minds


Genevieve, the daughter of two wealthy nobles, knew that if she wished would have no need to work a day in her life but unlike her parents who knew little of a proper days works wished for something more. The young woman knew a life of nobility was a pleasant one, she had enjoyed the luxuries of fine food and company for many years but never had she truly accomplished anything, Genevieve wanted something more.

Leaving the safety and joy of her parent's manor home young Lady Hillstrand travelled for the nearest guard post and swiftly begged for the opportunity to train with the soldiers camped, many could not refuse the company of a young woman for it seemed to bring some colour to the camp, the commander however was torn for he knew who Genevieve was. The commander held no love for the Hillstrands, they were pompous and cared little for others but their daughter seemed different.

After having only been at the camp for a week Young Lady Hillstrand began to shine, the commander knew she was different from that point on for the young woman was kind and caring, she helped her comrades when needed and held her own when it was right. The woman blossomed.

After six months of strict training and a potential knight hood, brought on by word of her nobility, Genevieve was ready to prove herself, before the young woman became a full knight however she needed to prove herself, a quest was needed.......
