~All About Nimue~

Occupation:

Her official title is 'Elemental Lady of Lakes'.

Despite her ditzy ditsy nature, Nimue is actually a powerful water elemental Duchess, a rank indicating she answers only to the all-powerful Elemental Lords of Imperium. Her responsibilities include looking after the world's fresh water supply and keeping it clean and healthy. She commands terrifying water-based power and can alter her form by taking water in and manipulating it.

She has no attachment to her job and is constantly forgetting to do it, not so much out of laziness as distraction. She gets distracted quite easily if she doesn't set her mind on something.

Her favourite guise is a working humanoid form, which you can see above. She's almost always in that shape.

Some believe that she is the alter ego of the 'mysterious masked crime fighter', the Masked Newho Tness (no, this is not a typo.) Nimue denies such accusations fervently.

Personality:

Sassy, playful, and highly oblivious. She means well, and she values her friends highly. She's particularly attached to her (long-suffering) water elemental servant, Smish. Maybe I'll make a Smish alt someday, shrug!

Despite her immense magical power, she's not at all dangerous in most cases. Or at least, not intentionally. In fact, she often comes across as quite stupid and gullible, and her naivete does not befit an elemental of her status. She's very easily tricked, deceived and manipulated.

Be wary though... She's also impulsive, imaginative, and quick to act without thinking. This can lead to the people around her getting roped into ridiculous escapades that are often more dangerous than Nimue realizes.

She forms attachments a little too quickly and deeply. If she likes you, she'll follow you around like an unhealthily obsessed fangirl with too much time on her hands. Linda_Lam knows this all too well, as she and Nimue have become close pals and pseudo bed-buddies.

Abilities (Particularly As Relates to Vore):

Nimue's body is liquid, but magically tethered to her elemental core so that it is usually solid in texture, albeit very squishy. She can become partly or fully liquid in consistency at any time, making her very hard to pin down; However, she has very little control over Ice (which is a different subschool of water elemental magic in Imperium), so she doesn't function as well in frigid environments, and may even begin to freeze over if she stays in subzero temperatures for too long!

She's capable of absorbing vast amounts of water in mere seconds, purifying it into fresh water for as long as it's a part of her. This allows her to grow exponentially in size, and she will occasionally reach giantess proportions if she's handling a ton of water at once. It'd be great if she wasn't encouraged to do this though, since she becomes a lot more capable of accidental destruction the larger she gets.

By contrast, she can also expel most of the water in her body and shrink down to a tiny size if needed. She doesn't usually do this, but people who have witnessed it attest that Pocket Nimue is pretty darn cute.

As a Pred...

Nimue is more often prey due to her oblivious nature, but she has a bit of a pred kink which manifests itself from time to time. She usually offers a choice, and her inability to digest anything other than liquid means that most people don't have to worry about going through that ugly death business.

The inside of her stomach can be perfectly dry and comfy to non-liquid people, given her total control over her body's water molecules. Feel free to hang out in her sometime! It's probably safer than being outside of her in a lot of situations.

That said... She is fully capable of assimilating (digesting) other liquids, and quite rapidly at that, so slime girls and other water girls should exercise caution in dealing with her.

Liquid ingested through her mouth or other orifices ends up in her belly, where it takes time to digest. Liquid ingested directly through her body itself becomes part of her instantly. She can put on weight this way, though she's just as capable of getting rid of it if she chooses.

As Prey...

Adversely, she can't be digested herself... just... expelled. She can leave most of her body weight behind when being expelled, leaving her pred amply hydrated. And she ends up reforming immediately once she's out.

All in all, she makes for somewhat fearless, often willing prey, to an almost frustrating extent. Endo preds love her though!
