This lady's knighthood all started as a jest; an uppity young noble girl volunteering her services for a war their kingdom was losing quite badly. They thought she'd make a fine mascot to encourage the soldiers, but were rendered speechless when she actually made herself a key part of winning it all, aversion to wearing a helmet notwithstanding. She seemed to be a skilled duelist, adept at leading and following when the situation demanded. Yet all the fighting and wars happened long ago, the warrior lady found herself forgotten by near everyone in the resulting peace and prosperity. Now she's on her own, not quite having found her place in the world beyond, going on great expeditions and holding true to her knightly oaths all the same, smiting any evil that shows itself to her; and while she acts stoic when dealing with potential threats, she can be pretty soft for friends and the innocent. Her wisdom and skill as a duelist is remarkable, and she is useful as an asset, acquaintance, or meal. Roxanne Shanxi is not particularly a great threat, despite a decent amount of martial experience, though she does have a knack for diplomacy, problem solving, and the arcane! Someday she may just head the great state of Xinatta, the so called 'dukedom of beasts' but until then she shall travel far and wide as a fearless adventurer.
