Laina, in simplest terms, is a scientifically created shapeshifter. she started off as a normal human, around 18, 19, when she was taken from her home by people who worked for her parents. her parents used her as a human guinea pig for their tests, and by the time they were done with her, she had blue hair (which she retains in all her forms) and the ability to shapeshift-well, sort of. by touching something for a long time, she can gain its unique characteristics. eventually she would escape her prison-she snapped the neck of one of the guards, then shapeshifted into him and simply walked out.
since then, Laina has experimented with her abilities and come to a few conclusions. she has found that she is not a true shapeshifter-she only gains various forms, that are similar to the original-like if she were to come in contact with a catgirl, she herself would be able to become a catgirl as well-not the same catgirl, but what she would look like if she had been born a catgirl instead. when she became the security guard, she appeared as if she had been born a human male.
she has also discovered that merely touching someone for a period of time just isnt enough to allow her to keep that form. to do so, she must either devour/be devoured by her target. if in the scenario Laina is the predator, once her meal is digested, she gains her new form. if she is being digested, however, she aquires her new form once she reforms. though she only reforms when aquiring a new form. so if she has a catgirl form, and is eaten by a catgirl, she's trapped in Limbo untill someone somehow ressurects her.
as for her personality, its a bit of a confusing stort-Laina originally was just a teenager, typical teen problems. she's always been a little shy around boys, very giggly, and loves to have fun-that is until the incident. now, she's very much the same, even happier with her new gifts. since being food for Mikaela, however, she's changed-her human personality is a tad bit more sadistic, and she often is seen eyeing people in hunger, licking her lips. in her Cat Demon form, she is even nastier, and lives to hear her victims scream.
Basically, her personality alters with every form she gets.

ChloeM transformed her into a variety of things, then made her into a carrot, which became ChloeM once again for digestion.

aquired after being mercilessly shredded and devoured by Mikaela-bad kitty! good RPer. in this form she can shoot bolts of blue energy, shrink people, freeze them in time, and has catlike reflexes-more or less anything Mikaela could do-though her powers arent as strong as the original kitty demoness who ate her.
Bunny Girl-
after messing with ChloeM's forms (doggirl, neko, human, carrot, then back to bunny) Laina's abilities made her into what seems to be a cross of a bunny girl and Chloe's last form before the carrot-an incredibly attractive human. so now she has a bunny-girl form!

Firey Form-
after being roasted alive andhen eaten in chunks while stuck in her human form, Laina gained her firey form. in his form, she is basically what fire would look like f it was blue ad shaped like a girl. she ca control and shoot fire, alog with turn into it and become a raging forest fire, or a match flame-blue, of course. her persnality her i fun loving, but stll sadistic.
Anthro Wolf-
while hopping around in thewoods in her bunny form, she was tackled and devoured by what seemed to be a fox girl. she woke up surprised to find hersel with a new body-that of an anthro fox.
