Lakar is a chipper, upbeat, shapeshifting alien.

Personality
When one comes from a race of ravenous, bloodthirsty, and callous beings dead-set on devouring pretty much everyone and everything, and when one wakes up one morning to find one has suddenly achieved empathy, it's hard not to fall into the old sci-fi cliché of trying desperately to be everything your race isn't. Lakar fled his homeworld, hoping removing himself from his peers would help ease the temptation and remove the hunger pangs. It didn't go so well.

Lakar attempts to live a life of serene calmness, to help others and respect them, but his biology makes that particularly difficult. He feeds only when his prey is particularly agreeable, and attempts to do so in a way that won't cause intense pain or discomfort (although that's kinda difficult as he's finding out.) It's a hard lifestyle to maintain, though, and there's not a lot keeping him from slipping up, especially when his host here on Earth actively encourages his more anarchic side.

Appearance/Abilities
Lakar, in his default form, is pretty much just an extremely pale human with a third eye (hidden beneath his bangs) and a finger missing on each hand.

He can shapeshift into almost anything, provided he doesn't violate the law of conservation of matter.
