Crawling into a sandwich was probably not the wisest thing to do, but when you're an arachnid, you focus on two things; feeding and mating. So it came to pass that the sandwich was hoisted up by one of the radioactive human test subjects and a bite was taken, managing to catch the tip of one of Lamarid's legs.
Escaping the sandwich was easy. When her presence was found within, she was tossed aside with a scream. Days later she found she had all the amazing and stupendous powers of a human being! She had opposable thumbs! Hair she could style! A kickin' bod! Also, somewhere down the line she acquired the strange ability to shrink and grow herself by pumping her altered venom in the right ways...

Super Strong Webbing - With relative ease, she can weave a webbing strong as support cable, yet soft as silk. Perfect for ensnaring her prey.
