The Rainforests surrounding the nation of Zehel proved to be quite a breeding ground for strange creatures. From the odd Grootslang to even stranger beasts, the constant humid rain made survival for human settlements rather hard. Thus, in their desperate struggle, they infused a woman with a strange eldritch spell, and once she gave birth, Vrial was born. A Lamia of considerable power when she grew up, her tail could snap dragonbone in half with next to no resistance if she truly wanted it. But, her trophy hunting days in the rainforest proved to be...Problematic as the village relocated to a more civilized area.

Vrial had become enthralled by the hunt. It did not lead her to hunt humans in the way she slew the animals however. Once she spotted a quarry she liked, her calm and collected demeanor changed in an instant, to a warm and loving girl...whether they wanted it or not. Nobody could get between her and her quarry, she made sure of it! They were born to be HERS after all, that is the rule of nature, the Hunter and the Prey! For someone to try and take away their loved one was heresy, and she is the most stalwart guardian one could hope for. That is, she is also a Jailer for those who do not reciprocate those feelings.

Her Lamia body has slight quirks that set it apart from others. Her human stomach is the one that digests the food, while her snake half stores it away, keeping it safe and unspoiled, the goo inside giving all the nutrients one could ever want. That makes it either a safe haven, or a prison to someone unlucky. She does however, frown upon digesting people, as letting your catch go and run so that you can hunt them again is a joy of unearthly caliber...
