Latifa

Curio Shop: Latifa owns a small curio shop that deals in, in theory anyway, non-magical trinkets and souvenirs that hold an interest to avid collectors and mindless tourists both. All the items in her shop were orginially found on her research expeditions but deemed 'without historical import' which means she has no compunctions about selling them for her own profit. However, as one might imagine, not EVERYTHING she finds is as harmless as she thinks it is, quite a bit of her merchandise is abnormal or cursed in some fashion or another which is an acceptable risk to most explorers and tomb raiders, but not so much for your average customer just looking for something to spice up that drab living room! So far, none of these curses or sorceries have been harmful, but they often have quite...peculiar effects and it's a small miracle that none of them have affected Latifa, a fact that irate customers have pointed out to her is fairly suspicious.

Personality: Latifa is a bitch of varying moods, often affecting a demeanor of cool disdain for all those around her that she considers 'inferior' in status to herself, even as a sultry ember burns deep in the emerald depths of her eyes. Those persistent enough to weather her chilly attitude often find themselves with a knowledgeable and reliable companion while those lucky enough to bed her...well...the comments about her being a real animal in the sack aren't an exaggeration! She's a fierce partner in bed who isn't afraid to take what she wants from whomever she's fucking and enjoys a bit of roughness even as she searches for the men and women who's dominance makes her weak in the knees and panting for more.

As a scholar, Latifa is naturally a curious soul at heart and enjoys discussions about ancient cultures and societies, even if no real evidence remains of their existence. To the Anubian, to forget one's history is the greatest of crimes and she takes a...dim view of those who would exploit ancient finds or, Heaven forbid, destroy them. Oftentimes she'll be found with her nose buried in some musty tome or scroll, puzzling over the mysteries and secrets contained within them. To many people who try to get to know Latifa on a personal level, the revelation of what she's like 'on the job' is a shocking surprise compared to the cold, distant woman who normally shrugs off the advances of other men and women.

((OOC: I'm very reactionary...meaning I don't usually seek people out for RP. I generally wait for people to contact me since it means they're into the same things that I am, which makes things easier for both me and whomever I'm playing with. Please...if you're interested then let me know. The first post means a lot to me since it lets me know what I can look forward to while playing. Hell, even just knowing you tried on that first post means a lot. If you begin to fade off because of sleep or something just let me, cause I can understand stuff like that. I don't like hecklers though, you know the type...they'll ask you for play, then ask again when you say no or propose an alt of theirs (or an entire alt list) and then finally numerous different ideas once you say no to the alts. I can't stand that, mostly because when I'm on a character it means I want to play that character, not another one I might have and I assume the same of other people. If hecklers get too persistent I'll ask them to leave me alone and in which cases where they don't I usually hit the ignore button (And I do use it, so don't get too annoying, 'kay? ^^).

I sometimes disappear without warning it's because RL has a habit of messing with me. If I can I'll drop a PUB explaining why (If possible) and apologizing. I like to be courteous since I know popping off can peeve some people off.

I love verbose role-play. Nice, lovely, long role-play. It's why I'm on Eka's and it's what I'm looking for, don't feel bad if you don't like the same kind of detail I do, because everyone is comfortable with a different length of posting. ^^ That said, I'm rather polite and nice OOC so don't be afraid to whisper me.))
