Skitter here, skitter there, get shrieked at and have things thrown at you by people who seem to have never seen an arthropod girl with the lower body of a monstrously large centipede before. Honestly.

Maybe she looks...different. Twitching antenna tasting the air, rigid carapace on her back, arms, and cheeks. Two pairs of orange eyes and a long feeler tongue. And thirty feet of many-legged segmented tail ending with what aren't ACTUALLY pincers but everyone just assumes. Really, if she wanted to hurt you she'd bite, with her venomous little fangs. But she wouldn't really!

She's trying to be nice, is the thing. She's trying to be friendly and learn about people when she's this horror movie freakshow scuttling about in abandoned homes eating vermin and trying to be friendly and rear up, legs waving and arms out for a hug. Which...along the chirrups and greeting hisses, everyone just assumes she's about to eat them or something.

Honestly, she's starting to become bitterly interested in the idea. It'd stop them from throwing rocks.
