General Personality Sweet, kind, and perhaps a little bit playful, Lianna Irithe is rather hard to forget. Going from a graceful and elegant woman to someone more down to earth, playful, and filled with laughter. Lianna is capable of being on both sides of the “high society” and “normal” worlds without otherwise changing herself. | |
Background Lianna Irithe's first memory was of blood and darkness overtaking the light. Before she remembers waking up as a small naga in a rags and a world full of anger, hatred, and despair. Lianna was kept as a slave, and often treated a mixture of well and not well. While Lianna was often bludgeoned, beaten, and any other sort of violence whenever she overstepped her bounds, Lianna's elegance and grace often lead many owners to avoid hurting her to the same extent that they did others. Of course, as Lianna grew up, her beauty and elegance only improved to the point where it became as much of a liability as a gift. Being a rare type of naga, Lianna was often kept more as an exotic pet for her owners to parade around to show their prestige rather than something they used for their own amusement; though, there were those owners that did so. However, due to her vocals being both alluring and well-trained, Lianna was often quite the speaker of polite yet well-placed insults often to her owners and their guests. Which often led to hear beatings in the first place. Lianna grew internally to be a more powerful naga though. Resilient physically – and mentally – in comparison to most people around her. Lianna grew tired of her beating, of the constant insults slung her way. However, what tended to hurt Lianna more were the beatings brought to other slaves by her insults. Her best friend being whipped and beaten until bloody. Lianna being chained down and forced to watch grew angrier and more desperate until a flash of light allowed her to slip from her bindings – and in rapid motion – devour her master and save her best friend. Normally one might consider this a high crime, but in Nexus's Slaver Ring this is considered semi-normal, and with it came status and wealth. Lianna inherited all of her previous owner's property; though, unlike her previous owner, Lianna had no desire to own slaves, and she wouldn't be corrupted by such things. Rather, Lianna became a noble by spreading other goods and services across the Nexus and beyond. Allowing herself to maintain her high social status without becoming a slaver herself. This, in turn, allowed Lianna to buy slaves to set them free, and instead have them be paid servants under her service and protection. While Lianna uses her magic to make sure that her servants are safe, she's still unsure where the golden-white magic is from, unaware of the spark of divinity inside of herself.
