Lichee is a Saiyan from the planet Sadala in Universe 6, born in Age 759 to parents Sapinda and Ceaea. As the Saiyans of Universe 6 are not typically a warrior race, Lichee lived a mostly boring life up until Age 780; when her, her race, and her entire universe were erased during Zeno's Tournament of Power. Once the erased universes were restored by the combatants of Universe 7 via the Super Dragon Balls, and the three Saiyans Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale returned to their planet, the inhabitants were a little shocked to learn of their demise, but life mostly continued as it should have. Of course, there were a few among the population that wanted to train themselves in case of emergencies - one of them being Lichee, despite the wishes of her parents. With her small group, she traveled to the hostile planet of Earth, seeking to grow stronger via fighting with and against the various warring factions on the planet.

Lichee is strongheaded, perhaps a bit stubborn for her own good, and a little reckless. Her pride often gets the best of her, meaning that whenever she fails at something, she refuses to take responsibility for whatever it was - but if convinced, she'll enter a depression-like slump, drowning her sorrows in any Saiyan's favorite comfort; food. She often snacks on fruits or meats as a way of calming her nerves in times of extreme stress, and can sometimes retreat from the battlefield temporarily just to eat something. She has a particular fondness for the children of Earth, impressed by the strong will of many of them, being able to survive on a planet that's nearly an active war zone daily. Lichee also finds the women of Earth to be fascinating, as many of them have adopted warrior lifestyles themselves, and prove themselves to be quite capable on the field.

Her character will be a work-in-progress, and I'm heavily considering having her being an evolving character, as well as allowing her to go into other universes, timelines, etc. More than willing to just...let her loose and have some fun.

More Information

Lichee is my original Saiyan character, based off an old Dragon Ball story I was writing a year or so ago. The original story ended up falling through, and I eventually decided to rework Lichee's character from an admittedly edgy one into something much more manageable. For those of you who may ask, yes, the art is original! I eventually want to update it with some kind of digital version, but for now, we're sticking with the original drawing. Although her name doesn't fit into the scheme of Saiyans being named after vegetables, Lichee is named after the Lychee tree, which produces a fruit called Drupe. So, if she ever has a kid, I guess that the name is kind of a given. But, after doing a bit of research, I found a Tuffle from Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans called Dr. Lychee, so...woops! Also, a bit of awkward information I found recently would be that toxins linked to the lychee have killed nearly 50 kids in India. The irony that she has a fondness for children..
