Lina has been busy searching for a job for a good while now, she fancied herself a pretty reasonable cook, knowing how to season a dish to bring out the full flavour. Nothing much seemed to come up that appealed to her however and so she sent out resumés to many establishments offering to apprentice under their chefs.
So far however, she's been having no luck. No-one seemed interested in even giving her a chance, even for a trial period and so she's been travelling to various cities, offering her services to whoever she might be able to learn from. She didn't have the money to promote herself, only having enough to live on from her job working in a bar. It just wasn't what she saw herself doing the rest of her life.
While not searching for a restaurant to apply to, or a chef to help, she reads a little, preferring a little bit of romance or something of the sort involved with the story. She also likes to take time out and walk about, or just relax on a bench while the world goes on around her. After all, her main passion is cooking. And why not try to make a career out of something you love?
Another thing she loved yet didn't quite advertise as much was how much she knew about the herbs she used. Her knowledge about seasonings didn't just encompass the culinary aspects, but included a number of concoctions that might make someone fall asleep or lose their memory, a combination that often left an unfortunate mark without a valuable item without knowing quite who took it or how.
