From Madou Monogatari Arle is a six year old aspiring sorceress currently attending Kindergarten in a Amazonian Basin esque fantasy setting where monsters roam the earth, from mermaids to vampires. Many of them even talk. Her world is a bit behind on gender equality compared to ours, and she's considered easy prey by some as a result. However, this is far from the truth. Those that actually know her consider her something of a tomboy thanks to her slightly competitive and sassy nature, as well as her penchant for certain spells considered boyish by her peers. Arle, while quite limited at her current age, is a prodigious sorceress who can pack a mean punch in a fight, and certainly wouldn't think much of putting someone on the food chain if the idea was presented to her. She can cast a variety of elemental spells, mental spells, protective spells, and even some healing spells. |
Let's address the elephant king in the room, shall we? Little Arle isn't supposed to be sexy. I don't want to do sex RP with her and I don't want her to be hypersexualized. She can eat people, but the intention is for that to be funny or cute. That being said, if you're uncomfortable with Arle's age still you can keep a look out for her older self! Alternatively, I could play an age regressed version of Arle who has an older mind but for some reason has physically de-aged, if that would be a compromise. I lean toward similar age partners for Arle. There are a few things I simply can't do either because I have serious distaste for the subject or it's just too harsh on my immersion. I can't list them all, but as exceptions come up I'll add them here: Herms, Scat I'm fine if you want to greet me with a starter, and I'm fine if you want to discuss things OOC first. Just don't mix IC and OOC yeah? I'm fine with 'em both but I don't want the lines blurred. If we start without prior discussion and your starter post doesn't address the location, I will default to Arle's tropical rainforest homeland or her village.
