Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-██████, denominated Longarms has to be kept confined within Kyrene_Island by using the special procedure [DATA EXPUNGED]. Any attempt at containing it in a smaller enclosure has proven fruitless, since the [REDACTED] need to be at least █ miles apart to work.
Due to its composition, SCP-██████ is particularly powerful at night. Its pitch black body is easily identifiable under a source of light, so personnel must always enter Kyrene during daytime in no smaller groups than █ people, all carrying with them high intensity torches. These only deter SCP-██████ and do not prevent its attacks.
It is theorized that the entity is seeking something in particular on the island and could potentially ignore the [REDACTED] placed around the location if it were to ever find it.
Discovering what it seeks is of the upmost priority.

Description: SCP-██████, denominated Longarms has the appearence of a tall humanoid antropomorphic girl of undetermined species. Standing at around 9 feet, its body is completely black, save for the piercing white eyes that never blink.
The creature has extremely long limbs and is made of an unknown substance capable of phasing through matter and merge with shadows. Whenever a target is alone it may appear from behind and hug them, carrying them back to [DATA_EXPUNGED] or consuming them on the spot. If phisical subjugation is unsuccesfull it will try to look at the target in their eyes. In case of blindness or lack of eyes, hypnosis will simply require to be in its field of view.
It is unknown why SCP-██████ is consuming people, since tests from the year 1█73 have shown its ability to live completely without food at no harm to its health.



People who are consumed are completely absorbed, body and soul. If SCP-██████ were to break containment it could eventually consume all life on the planet, multiplying for every soul digested and assimilated
