Lorelle Schmidt is a young Pokémon Trainer from the Unova region that was tasked by Professor Aurea Juniper to go on a journey and fill out the PokéDex. She gladly accepted the request since it would allow her to make a decent buck by doing what she always dreamed of doing as a kid. She chose a Snivy as her starter and named him Oscar, marking the start of a tale that would change her life forever.
The truth is that her current living situation is rather difficult. Financial troubles meant she could only afford the bare minimum to sustain herself, and her mother is an alcoholic, resulting in rather dreadful experiences. For that reason, Lori hopes to gain some level of independence from her mother by secretly participating in the Gym Challenge. If she were to become a very powerful trainer, sustaining herself would be a lot easier...
