Somewhere deep in the Nexus, where the Wild animals live and the plants grow healthy, lives a Lil Lamia in a big warm cave. This cave haves some spa pools that are wonderfull to bath in and relax.
But most people dont notice that someone might be living in there, Lucy, how people that met her called her. This Lamia isnt like the others that you can meet in the Forest, shes Wild...and a bit unable to learn pretty fast. She cant speak, youll just hear some hissing and some sighs or weird sounds but she can understand you, if you try to explain her slowly what you mean, with gestures or anything like that, at all she can learn, just not so fast.
You could think that Lucy is someone who is dangerous and evil, but no she isnt, she might look and act unpolite, but thats just because she doesnt know what that is. Of course she will need to eat and hunt from time to time, but she also eats berrys, but of course preffers meat! Even though she wont eat you on first sight, she may be curious, if you stay nice she wont harm you much, but if you attack her she may eat you or give you a good squezing! But of course she will mostly try to eat things that smell nice or seem to be eatable. Lucy of course never ate cooked meat or any non primitive food, so she will either like it alot or dislike it, depending on what it is.
Many people got into the cave to bath, just to suddenly see a lamia next to them looking at them cutely, just to be greeded by a scream or sometimes by a simple wave. Many people that tried to run away fast got coiled up, her hunting instings kicking in. But those that stayed calm and just looked at her got to meet a nice and cute, curious and rather shy Lamia.
She got her name from a group of travellers who wandered one night into the cave of the Lamia, making a fire just to see a scared and frightened Lamia staring at the fire from a corner. After making the fire a bit smaller and slowly aproaching the Snake, they started to offer her some of their food. They gave her some apples, berry but mostly meat, in hope to become to her liking and not to get eaten.
Of course they wanted to go and leave her alone, some not wanting to dissturb her and some not wanting to get eaten. But as they wanted to leave they got blocked by the Lamia, her bowing and smiling at them cutely, showing them the Hot Pool and her improved "Bed" that were just some leaves and a blanket she got from some travelers before. The Travelers undestood, she wanted them to stay, at least for the night, so they laid their sleeping bags near her bed and they had a nice nigth in the Cave.
On the Next day as Lucy awoke she saw everyone else still sleeping, after they woke up they saw her staring at them the whole time they slept, she didnt get to see sleeping people that often, so she used that situation.
But even if it was nice, they had to go on with their journey, they gave her some food and some goods and said farewell, if shell find them again one day? Who knows, she misses them still at all, they gave her a name.
So if youll ever find Lucy, dont panic, stay calm and greet her, she may not understand you really, but shell try to understand what you are and what clothes are, or any other stuff you carry around with you.
