Prelude
Life went along peacefully amongst the airbender tribes until word got passed down to the airbender tribe that then young Luft belonged to that the firebenders was massing for an attack on the air bender monastery. During the hustle and bustle of every available capable person able to bend air Luft and her parents moved out to a desert region to escape the slaughter. Having been left at home with her mother most of the time her along with her mother and father all played a part in creating a story about a desert monster that gets summoned by a vile witch that lives in a cave to devour any person that gets close to a cave protected by high speed winds.. creating an almost constant sandstorm.
Time went on peacefully once again as Luft took the time to sharpen her airbending skills.. also helping her air bending mother and father with how fierce the winds can get. Luft reaching a powerful level of airbending to the point of being able to create monster size sandstorms. Time went on further as she had the untimely task of having to bury her own mother and father far away from the cave she lived in. Only going to the nearest village whenever she needed stuff to survive she is painfully unaware of her cute tomboyish looks to the point of not knowing what all the fuss is about. Normally seen in airbender clothes covered in a light brown hooded cloak along with a nose and mouth covering mask of the same color. Not telling not even the most inquisitive of people anything about where she lives or anything.
