Lunette. A celestial name for a celestial bei- okay, no, she's not celestial in origin. She's a reasonably normal human. Well, as reasonably normal as one can be when they are the Imperial heiress to the Arcanian Empire. Daughter of
Syeda and
Rathya, at eighteen years of age she has learned well under their tutelage, becoming quite the practiced sorceress, and a dab hand at swordplay as well. She is rather prim and proper; much moreso than either of her mothers, who consider that they have the luxury to act as they please, being at the top, whereas Lunette prefers to act the way she does so that people will see that she intends to accomplish things by her own power, rather than riding on the coattails of her parents' accomplishments.
This makes her come across as rather cold, most of the time, and at the Imperial college she has been adorned with the nickname "Ice Queen" by many of her fellow students; a nickname even her parents have adopted, which inspired their choice of dress for her to wear during her coming-of-age portrait, pictured to the side. Her normal, day-to-day attire is a regal long-sleeved tunic, white with black trim, with black leggings and regal black knee-high leather boots, with a 4-inch high heel and silver filigree adornments. She carries with her the sword she's wielding in her ceremonial portrait; a coming-of-age gift from her parents.
She is quite intelligent, having been tutored by some of the brightest minds in the empire since she was old enough to grasp the concept of mathematics, but does not typically hold others in low regard because of it, as some intellectuals do. In fact, she does her best to treat everyone equally; not exactly an incredibly progressive trait in such a day and age, but certainly noteworthy in a ruling figure. At eighteen years of age, she still has a ways to go before she can take the throne, but is still involved in numerous affairs of state, already becoming quite a potent political figure.
