Lyrs

Summary

Lyrs Tulsnogard is a male werewolf. He may be from the Nexus, or he may be in some other setting as befits the scene. Modern-fantasy is assumed, but other flavors are possible!

Human

At a glance he is a human, broadly similar to many of the species - male, Caucasian, not-quite six-feet tall built between chubby and athletic. He's not out of shape, but not the picture of masculine fitness. There are freckles, a few scars here and there, and other subtle signs of an interesting life.

To go by his face the man looks to be in his late twenties or early thirties. He has shoulder length straight brown hair, a matching moustache, sideburns and short beard; the latter all kept well-trimmed. His eyes are bright blue behind rounded-off rectangular glasses. A shallow scar marks his right cheek, long healed.
The man's attire blends the modern and archaic. He wears a black t-shirt a couple sizes too large for him that must be a favorite from how well it's worn. Over the shirt he wears a black denim vest with several functionally deep pockets. A black leather dog collar circles his neck with several small tags on it, plus a small stylized animal paw clutching a bright blue marble.

A pair of knee-length khaki cargo shorts clads the man's lower half; and a plain braided leather belt keeps it secure. A small leather satchel or pouch hangs off the right side of his belt, secured by a pair of large plastic or carved stone buttons. His boots look to be sturdy leather work boots with steel toes showing through slits where the overlying leather has worn through.




Werewolf

This fearsome creature blends man and beast in one brutishly elegant package. Standing upright on his hind legs he's easily pushing twelve feet tall, but on all fours he's perhaps half that. His long arms make the shift easy, and lend his proportions a gorilla-like quality. He's fairly muscular, but the effect is somewhat muted a dense covering of night-black fur. One might estimate his weight to be around a thousand pounds.

The beast possesses a wolf-like head, largely identical to that of a common wolf save for its size and the longer, more muscular neck that supports it. Broad shoulders support the long arms, and his eyes are bright blue in color despite their wolflike appearance. A slash of dark red fur marks his right cheek, easily missed in darkness. A long mane of dark, thick fur hangs about his head and shoulders, extends partway down his back. Gripping pads, like those of a canine's feet, mark the inside of his fingers and palms. Long curved claws of dull bronze cap his fingers.

His midsection os somewhat chubby - not excessivey fat, but some might label it a "dad bod" belly. Powerful hips support the whole creature, with a pair of suitably proportioned buttocks. A thick lupine tail emerges from the base of his spine to help maintain his balance. His legs are like his arms - strong and powerful, though digitigrade. Bronze claws, larger and rounded off compared to those on his hands, mark his distinctly canine toes.




Wolf

The creature is a large specimen of gray wolf. From the tip of his nose to his hindquarters he's perhaps six feet long, and half that height at the shoulder. From the girth of his flanks he doesn't want for food. Yellow eyes markely more intelligent than those of normal wolves stare out from beneath his brow. His claws appear to be dull bronze in color. A look beneath his hindquarters show he's a male, though he makes no effort to display or hide this in particular.
