Alice Vilsamir is an enigma, a girl with the potential to do all sorts of crazy shenanigans. Instead, she wastes that potential via staring at screens and arguing with people over the internet under the alias, Magey. Now, under normal circumstances, Magey would have 0 potential. She's lazy, she's not bright, she's honestly just a waste of human space. However, the girl was chosen to receive The Eye of The Beholder. This tome is directly linked to Yggdrasil and draws forth magic from every star in the universe. This allows Magey to potentially do anything she desires, she could live in perfect isolation, have unlimited power, etc. etc. But instead she uses it as nothing more than a footrest, a coaster, or a way to spawn food that she wants. The girl has mastered the art of being useless.
Of course, access to this great power doesn't come without an exchange. Magey's right eye is directly linked to this tome. Whenever it is uncovered, Magey takes in all the magic from Yggdrasil at once, those who can sense or see mana (or any magic-like aura) would be able to pinpoint her exact location no matter where they were from its sheer quantity. Of course, that also requires her to have The Eye of The Beholder and she's a tad too lazy to carry that around. If her eye is covered, that blast of mana is completely invisible. However, she also cannot use magic whatsoever. She's just her normal self like that. Next, Magey is branded with a green symbol of a tree around her tailbone. This symbol glows and that's about it. Honestly, it's just inconvenience after inconvenience. The main drawback is just constantly being hunted by those who wish to gain the power of The Eye of The Beholder for themselves. But so long as she keeps her eye covered, she just seems like some random chuunibyou. So she should be fine... right?
