A Diamond Gorgonian that was worshipped as a serpent goddess of the earth during the late years of the Primeval Era. Few are certain on Magissa's origins and most will tell you that she arose from the Jigokusekai like many of the non human monsters, however there are some who believe that Magissa is an illegitimate daughter of one
BigMama_Echidna, a child born before she met and married Typhon. That all being said, she certainly doesn't look like much of a primordial beast. This is, of course, due to her true form being compressed into what you see now. What's her true form look like? Well, there's not much information on it's specific appearance but, legends from ancient civilizations had Magissa scaling taller than most mountains.
Magissa claims to have been worshiped by a village of Ningyou (fish people) that lived off in a coastal marsh near the southern seas during the Primeval Era. Word has it that she used to prey upon them for sometime before finally settling down (exact reasons are yet to be known) and becoming a protector of the Ningyou. Her protection and guidance helped the once, small village flourish into a bustling civilization that became one of the most powerful and well known land based Ningyou societies of the ancient era.
Magissa is known for being a bit spoiled, selfish and is used to having her way, more often than not, due to her being the supposed 'compressed' form of a powerful snake creature that terrorized the world during the Primeval Era. Magissa harbors a deep spite for humans and shows them very little respect, often times diamondizing them for no reason. Speaking of, Magissa has the power of petrification at her command as most Gorgonians do, however, she herself being of the rare Gemstone class, has the ability to "diamondize" things with a single glare of her magical, snake like eyes. Luckily, she's much to short for you to look directly into her eyes upon meeting.
