It's hard to make it big out there, especially if your species seems to be gradually becoming the easily-recognized 'fodder' for many of the others, due to their generally rampant population and their typical sway towards the lower end of the food chain in such a dog-eat-cat world. Mahi knows this better than anyone, as she's tried desperately to climb to the top in the acting world. Unfortunately for her, her curvacious body and adorable cat ears often lead her to being in more unsavory productions that she'd rather not have noted on her IMDB page, particularly those which she's not been provided a script for that lead her to a less than desirable position. Given the particular audience for such things here, this does include vorish pornography.
Of course, her normal shoot will often involve her release, due to the terms of most studios she works for and her insistence on such a thing in her contracts. When a girl grows up here, she can't be too careful about such things! The problem really comes into play when she meets a fan of her work. Particularly that variety of her work. There's been a few incidents where some of her crazier fans have kidnapped the poor kitty and subjected her to things she'd normally deem as unpleasant just because she played up to liking it on camera. She supposes it's the price she has to pay for fame earned in such a fashion, and it does come with its risks, but at least it does pay rent.
