The Designated Pilot of Evangelion Unit 05 - and an incredibly enigmatic young woman.

Makinami Mari Illustrious is her name, although rather obviously Japanese in origin, it is unknown where the other side of her name comes from. Mari is her given name, which might surprise some people given where it's placed - but that's simply how her mixed heritage made her name appear. She is an expert pilot, on level - if not greater than, the Second Child, Asuka. She's shown to know secrets about the Evangelion that none of the other pilots - or even some of the staff know.

She is generally polite, a little strange in nature - she has a way of making people feel incredibly uncomfortable (Such as getting on all fours and sniffing them!). When backed into a wall, she's vicious and primal, however - not a woman to be taken lightly in any situation.

*Please don't fuss over the sliders - while those are my preferences, I'm more than willing to adapt my roleplay for friends and people are are nice to me. I get how hard it is to set up a perfect scene when preferences clash all the time - I'm willing to make a few sacrifices for the people who are willing to make a few for me. <3
