Almost all of Malirath’s life had been under the Sith Empire. Way back when Malirath was still a child she’d been the subject of several strange experiments conducted by a Sith Lord that gave her unique abilities.

She harbors a sore spot for Jedi, having heard tales of their heroism for the first 8 years of her life but not been rescued by one in the twenty years she been held as a Sith test subject and torture toy. She managed to escape on her own when the Sith Lord was killed by a Jedi rescuing a captive child of a Republic Senator.

Now free from the Sith, she works as a freelance bounty hunter; she goes to great lengths to bring in her targets alive, typically using paralysis inducing darts, but she only takes on death contracts. She enjoys hunting prey that can think like she does, and what she was able to do with them after she proves to her employers that she had captured them.

Whether by accident or intent, the strange experiments conducted on Malirath granted her a possibly unique ability and physiology. First, the ability to use the Force to shrink others to a swallow-able size, around 5 to 8 centimeters (about 2 to 3 inches) tall. Second, after swallowing her victim and the effects of her power wear off Malirath shows no outward signs of having a full grown humanoid inside her

Humans are Malirath’s favorite prey, with Twi'leks coming in at a close second, but she will consume most any humanoid. And generally females are preferred over males.
