| Bio Execute. Remember. Forget. These were the words that were embedded into Mallory when she was a child, abandoned to an orphanage when she was merely two. She stayed there for some time, going in and out of interviews but never getting a family that wanted her. It was until she was eight that people came for her... and they wore black suits. They took her, along with a number of other orphans, merely walking out with the children -the caretakers being the ones that ushered them out. They were placed into a car, in which had blacked-out windows. They drove for some time, only to stop well out of the city, unto which they were then herded into a facility which would be their home for the next several years. It was there that they were drilled and disciplines, unto which they then learned how to fire guns, fight hand-to-hand, and use other tools for fighting. The people in Mallory's group soon began to disappear, their numbers dwindling slowly with each training session, without word or warning. Eventually, there were only three children left --Mallory was ten at the time. They were highly skilled, already moved into another group with older children --people who then disappeared as well as Mallory soon displayed a large increase in skill. None of the children asked questions, for if they did, they would too disappear the next day. It was when Mallory was twelve that the black suits then came for her as well, coming in the middle of the night while the children were asleep, taking her into a room that hosted a chair with shackles and many needles. They injected many things into her, things that would enhance her strength and agility, things in which also allowed for unnatural things... She was then brought to another room that contained another child, and then left the two in the room for many days. Soon, hunger grew, and Mallory ate the other child... whole. Mallory was then placed back into training, but this time it was training with children she had never known nor seen. They incorporated more training into her, along with many "tests' that involved the devourment of the opponent... people who failed the exam. It was through all these things that Mallory became apathetic, the things that occurred around and caused by her bring about no reaction from her. Mallory was then sent back to the orphanage, the caretakers taking no note of her reappearance, merely writing down her name and acting as if she had always been there. However, she did not come back the same as she had left, nor the same as when she finished her "training". She was brainwashed, the black suits placing three key words that would make her remember all her training, her memories... and the mission in which she was given to complete when she "remembered". For now, she lives as any other girl, going to the movies, listening to the latest music, and talking avidly with newly acquired friends. But when she heard the words, said with purpose and deliberately, she would remember everything... and complete her assigned mission. |
