Work in progress (Consider this an alt list if you want but it is also a character for RP) This is the permanent canon setting of Mokaria's home. Of course being her mansion it's filled with quite a few oddities, some of them more then willing for trespassing snacks.
Shout out to Vairune who is so wonderful to help me finish this, it's about a 50/50 split on our work on it.
Residents-
Played by myself (Mokaria)
Mokaria-Mistress of the mansion
Laboratory_Cats-Mokaria's helpers, though really they are just the house catgirls.
Rurthgen- Mansion watchdog, spends most of the time around the mansion rather then in it. Likes to call Mokaria 'Mom'
Ursama- Though she spends more time around the island hunting and even when inside the mansion in the kitchen she still calls the mansion home.
Lukukra: Aquariam lurker, just another one of Mokaria's crazy genetic experiments.
Played by others.
Vairune-Mokaria's wife and co-owner of the mansion
Kavirana- Daughter of Mokaria and Vairune.
Vetrysix-Keeper of the spiders
Desuma- Kavirana's pet umm bed.. umm yeah and other things.
Currently working on- The lab!
Various info
House Symbol- Nothing extremely fancy simply four creatures' heads, a tiger, wolf, snake, and bull curved so that each one is being eaten and eating another. The order starts from the Bovine at the top eating the wolf, the wolf eats the snake, and the snake eats the tiger, tiger of course bringing it full circle to eat the bull. This of course has nothing to do with normal food chain behavior but rather the order of the shamans Mokaria took powers from, and after the tiger the power consumed her own people.
Mansion Dimensions- The dimensions of the building are made for larger then even Mokaria and Vairune this out of respect for some larger folk they have met in the past, perhaps a bit much but all ceilings are twenty-five feet up, and the smallest doorways fifteen feet wide and it's not too uncommon for the walls of the guestroom to be raised, changing two rooms into one larger.
Traps- Throughout the house there are many valuables and with such valuables comes the need of defenses. Mokaria and Vairune have both worked hard to ensure that their mansion is safeguarded, using both their scientific knowledge, and their own experience breaking in to fix up their mansion.
Teleport:
Mokaria's favorite has to be the small genetic scanners around each doorway, if it reads an unrecognized DNA then it will activate the trap. Tiny slots in the walls and ceiling around the doorway open and fire small unseen energy catching the unwelcome victim inside of a displacement trap beam. To put simply it will teleport them to Rurthgen's quarters, the middle of the garden, inside the aquarium, or into the spider's nest.
Trapdoors:
These lead down into Mokaria's and Vairune's lab by a nice long vacuum suction tube, perhaps a bit on the lewd side dragging them eventually down into holding chambers filled with a stasis inducing gel like substance. The victim will slowly fall into a comatose state unil revived by Mokaria or Vairune.
Mansion Grounds
Hot Spring: To the northwest of the mansion, rests a natural looking hot spring that was created both for lazing and some recreation. Made more for the comfort of having one around, it is classic by the means of it being entirely open with no walls and not even a small shack for a towel. While keeping a decent size, it was still fairly modest in comparison to the mansion itself and always clean no matter what time of year it is. Easily seen from the balcony, it isn't for any shy guests to go venturing out in considering like the usual classic hot springs the couple make a strong rule against wearing clothes when going for a dip in the hot relaxing waters.
Vairune's Sanctuary: A southern extention to the hot springs, an old tree of unknown origin rests about a hundred feet from the hot springs themselves. It was certainly a healthy tree, a thick seventy foot trunk and hitting five hundred and fifty feet tall with many thick branches that each looked inviting to sit or lay upon. Around the tree one couldn't help but feel an majestic serenity, and even those completely blocked from magic could feel the life flowing as if the tree itself were a vein for the ethereal power. Always colored as if it were fall year round, golden orange to beautiful crimson leaves adorning the tree at all times of year and yet it never shed them. Always swaying to a wind, even on a calm day making it one of Vairune's favorite places to just sprawl out and relax. Territorial over the area, but she happily jumps on a chance to have Mokaria or Kavirana join her--so long as they don't laze without her.
First Floor:
Rooms-
Entrance: The first step to get anywhere in this mansion, unless you were brave enough to try the backway. Much as Mokaria chooses to keep things simple, tiled flooring with lush red carpet leading to the doorways and up the stairs to the second floor. The fanciest thing would perhaps be the large gem studded chandelier that hangs from the ceiling, the second most noticeable thing would be the large crest between the two staircases up, the house crest that is. Lighting in the room consist of the chandelier and wall lamps.
Kitchen: What mansion is complete without a large kitchen to prepare feast within? Of the appliances on the south end is a walk in freezer, ten by ten feet and is used just as much for pesky intruders as say normal cuts of meat. Among the means to cook and prepare is a large spit roaster, a stainless steel oven and cooktop easily large enough to fit a full grown human, and because Mokaria can't break the habit a nice large grease fryer. The center counters have each a sink on them as well as proper hanging racks for all the kitchen utensils and a large variety of spices and herbs. There are no windows in this room but some vents to the outside.
Dining:Things are slightly fancier for the dining room. Flooring of a classic marble tile, tapestries of fine silk hanging around the large stain glass windows, one of herself, one of Vai and the middle the both of them standing together on the west wall. The chairs strong oak and all hand carved, the house symbol etched into the back of each, and are quite comfortably cushioned. The tables covered with a fine cloth that is actually 'home made' though Mokaria keeps the secret to the silk like covering. For those wanting a drink there is a liquor cabinet on the north side visitors can mix their own drinks or for special occasions the dining room will be transformed more to that of a bar. The lighting is from simple chandeliers they don't compare much to the one hanging in the entrance.
Library: Kavirana's sanctuary so to speak, filled with a wide selection of Literature. There isn't much to see here except for books really, almost every bit of the wall lined with large oak-wood shelves to house the collection. Encyclopedia's, biographies, novels, even children stories can be found amongst the dust. The well of knowledge, at least the more basic that Mokaria cares to share with her guest lies in this room. More personal books of study reside in her Study and further personal scientific journals are only accessible from the lab. Furnishing other then the book shelves include tables to seat at and a desk that holds all the records of books within the library, more out of place is the hammock that Kavirana has set up by the desk since she spends so much time there Mokaria hardly got around to making the girl a room. Light consist of various candle look a likes as Mokaria likes the feeling it gives but doesn't want her books to go up in smoke.
Study: Mokaria's personal study only two genetic codes allow for entry into her private sanctum, and that is Vairune's and her own. That's not to say some haven't found their way in, and it's probably the fastest way to get killed if she didn't invite you in. Shelves lined with Mokaria's own journals, among rarer pieces of literature or some that she simply finds amusing. Records of old jobs, and even some journals of her victims. The rarest books however, are Vairune's rune caster tomes, locked within a chest for further security. Two sets of armor sit in the southeast corner of the room, one is Mokaria's her trusty plate that got her through quite the situations, left battered and bent from the last time she adorned it. The other is Vai's armor, above the stone fireplace hangs her trusty warhammer. Furnishings consist of a rather out of place lazy chair and then a fold out couch to bed, odd perhaps but this is a comfort room for Mokaria. There is a private wine cabinet as well within the study built into the east bookcase. Also to note are two windows but unless Mokaria is in the study they are sealed shut with steal shutters and a false wall. Lighting consist of a small lamp beside her lazy chair, and some wall lamps.
Bathrooms: Simple restrooms, nothing much to say here, these hold no wash facilities such as shower or bath, only toilets and wash sinks with a mirror above. Lighting is by a covered bulb on the ceiling.
Servant Room: Despite such a large room, with atleast twenty or more bunks for servants, only three usually frequent this room Pitpat, Mypin, and Ebb that is use this room as their bedroom, as Mokaria forbids them from using the guestroom. Perhaps one day someone else will find themselves using these rooms but for now it is mostly wasted space. The beds are nothing much rather uncomfortable and the plain wooden scenery of the room leaves much to be desired, as Mokaria doesn't check this room it often remains covered in dust. Their is no windows in this room and the lighting fixtures hang from the walls one on each.
Closet, cleaning: A simple closet for keeping of cleaning supplies, as of now the cats have the key to it they got to keep useful somehow. Either way not much to see here except bleach, some air freshener, mops, brooms, etc.
Museum: Various relics of times past line the shelves of this room, ranging from armor scraps to finer jewelry. Most of these possessions hold some meaning to Mokaria or Vairune a personal collection of mementos of their time as mercenaries. In the collection their is three main groups Mokaria's totems and shamanistic artifacts, Vai's feudal era belongings and then the much larger collection of their time in medieval kingdoms. The usual red carpet lines the path between the artifacts, lighting taken care of by means of ceiling lights. It is to be noted as this is mostly a storage of such artifacts these are all less personal, and though still possessions of the pair are not as cared for most with the wear of time upon them.
Garden: The best word to describe Mokaria's personal garden is eerie, the structural design of the platforms, pillars and various stairways to check on the plants lined with vines. Most of the stone has small cracks running along them, though holds firm to keep the plants from spreading too much, the air smells murky rather swamp like due to the undergrowth of the platforms. The design choice is based off Mayan artwork, many of the fountains with the estranged faces upon them. The plant life ranges from small harmless floral designs and smaller carnivorous species, to much larger dangerous carnivorous plants meant to keep others in line and on their toes. These plants are genetically altered to recognize Vairune's, Mokaria's and Kavirana's pheremones. Some of the plants are even splice amongst eachother, including Mokaria's creation of the sentient core of the garden. It's limbs are many and you could consider it a keeper, as it monitors other plants under it's protection and has the means to distribute nutrients for it's children to flourish. At the base of the keeper is a shrine, totems made from animal carcasses, one of the few standing symbols of Mokaria's past, a sacrifice slab placed at the center with small grooves for blood letting. Some of the stains indeed prove that habits or tradition dies hard. (Example picture:

Aquarium: This large aquarium perhaps might look like a pool from afar but is actually home to many of Mokaria's aquatic pets, the top covered by strong glass as to allow walking directly atop however most would probably want to use one of the two walkways. The glass top has a fine split from north to south allowing the glass panels to open up and close down into the aquarium making for quite the trap. Inside the aquarium if one could manage to survive the more dangerous animals is a replica reef habitat, and various species of jellyfish, sea anemone, sharks, and squids call it home among more common fish that serve to act as a food supply for her more beloved critters. The aquarium is quite deep in some areas and their are safer entrances in from the lab including suits for exploring the depths. Much like the plants the fish recognize Mokaria, Vairune, and Kavirana and will not attack them usually. Some of the sea critters though do have sentient intelligence and though cannot speak can understand speech.
Second Floor:
Rooms-
Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is the most private room within the mansion, the bedroom of the two territorial lovers Mokaria and Vairune. If one were daring enough to slip past the door risking their lives to see the master bedroom, it would prove to almost be a step back in time and yet preserved. Magnificently well taken care of room, old Gothic architectural designs running through the room with dark oak being the primary wood in the room. The walls a deep purple, decorated with various important and personal items from both Vairune and Mokaria's past. Ranging from odd little trinkets to painstakingly made items that looked as though it were expensive just to lay eyes upon them. A large king sized four poster bed in the center of the far wall, with darker violet veils always closed around the bed. The bed sheets themselves made up from the same color, but rich soft silks hidden under a dark soft cotton blanket. White fur running along the top of the blanket, like a six inch border. Several pillows lined up neatly arranged at the top of the bed, finishing off the look with some purple and some white. No traces of a tv, computer or anything technological in this room. Truly seeming to have been frozen in time, relics of the past in near perfect condition and leaving a strong forbidding feel and usually that's the last thing any trespasser would know. While it was forbidding to the trespasser, if one were to see it at a glance one could tell it was a room for tranquility and love, for the two at least.
Master Bathroom: If for some reason one felt bold enough to slip past the master bedroom and sneak into the bathroom, they'd quickly find the old Gothic style held firm into the bathroom itself. The only real changes to prove it had moved forward in time were the bath is large and circular, almost like a hot tub over a traditional bath tub. An extending shower head rests on a hook with the tub, for the days they just need to wash down and get heading out. The bathtub's color is a light violet, sitting on the far end of the bathroom as it carries the onyx and purple color scheme of the master bedroom. A counter runs along the right hand side, dark oak with solid smooth polished onyx along the top with two separate sinks with silver faucets. The toilet off to the left-hand side, with a small decoration only wall to its right with various soap baskets and other decoration items. The rest of the left side wall is covered with various pictures, some old as to be guessed at some of the first pictures to newer ones and some including their daughter Kavirana when she was little, and other moments of their lives.
Personal Closet: Usually left locked, its generally only opened by Mokaria or Vairune's dna touching the door knob. However, within the closet contains various clothes on either end along with some of the most valued items to the couple. A specific suit of Vairune's armor, for example lays in the far back right-hand corner hidden away to avoid any damage to the old set. A couple of long daggers, a bow and a katana rest with the armor still equipped on a manican as it rests almost proud seeming in its own little space. To the right of her armor, Vairune keeps various gifts that Mokaria had given her over time. From the wedding dress to things that would seem like silly trinkets, she kept them all in proof of their love. Mokaria's belongings she chooses to store here consist of her armor when Vai and herself decided to start working together. In fact all of her belongings revolve around her love of Vai, including her wedding robes displayed in a large glass case to insure preservation of the fine materials, feather and furs. She treats it very much like a shrine for the pandess, pendants, rings anything Vai gave to her stored somewhere within.
Entrance 2nd Floor: Going up the stairs to the second floor of the entrance way there is no other lighting except from the chandelier. The red carpet continues outlining the path to the doors on the west to Mokaria's fitness center you could call it, east to the spider hatchery and nest, and north side to the hallways connecting to the various guest bedrooms as well as the playroom and master bedroom. From the second floor overhang of the entrance way you can get a great view of the southern end of the mansion grounds out the large cathedral like paneled window. Adorning the walls are various portraits of Mokaria, Vairune and Kavirana. Some include other occupants of the mansion but are much less common.
Guest Rooms: The guest rooms in order from left to right, top to bottom are decorated to the according colors. The first room is a crimson and gold feature, the second contains light violets and opal designs, the third follows in with elegant silver and onyx styles, the forth carrying on with royal blue and dark purple secondary, the fifth is kept to autumn colors, and the sixth is winter colors. Each guest room has both basic and extra accommodations suiting any guests the family may have, oak frame beds and night stands. A desk typically to the left of the door containing a computer and internet, a tv stood on a small entertainment system. Each Tv has advanced cable, featuring any possible channel the guests would like to watch and the entertainment centers have drawers full of updated movies. The beds themselves garnished with multiple pillows, queen sized four poster beds with very soft cotton sheets and thick blankets. Room temperatures drop when guests want to sleep, making use of the comfortable bedding and encourages 'warming' activities. In special cases the wall between rooms can be raised into the roof to change the room sizes for various purposes. Usually Mokaria, Vairune or the cat trio redecorate the room for the special occasion and the style more often then not changes depending which of them does it.
Bathrooms: The guest bathrooms contain the basic needs for guests at the mansion. The sink usually the first thing to come across, and on the same side is the toilet down at the end of the room. On the other side of the bathroom is usually a normal sized bathtub, and for those who prefer showers there are extending shower heads for the taller or shorter visitors for the night(s). Towels hidden away in a drawer, usually along the same color design as the room their in unless the cats got confused again.
Spider Hatchery & Nest: An Arachnophobia nightmare. This could also be considered Vetrysix's bedroom along with the various spiders that Mokaria and Vairune keep. Little decor that can be noticed by anyone but the residents of the house, the various spiders tend to make their homes in separate corners of the room. Vetrysix possibly the only one who knows on a constant basis which spiders are where at any given moment, and his web stretches across the middle of the room but keeps the bottom right end open for Mokaria and Vairune's leisure of getting the spiders. A certain section of the room seems to occasionally gather a life-sized cocoon of a human sized creature, but details are details...
Gymnasium & Track Room: A bit above standard work out room, featuring a few work out machines in the back half of the room. A treadmill, exersize bike, and a few upper and lower body strength building machines held up on the back left side. On the right side held more manual strength training equipment, like dumbbells, sand weights, various hand weights. In the back right corner was a worn punching bag, hooked up on a chain from the ceiling. The front end of the room was cleared out, and a few chalked in lanes made for speed testing and endurance testing. Most important of the features is the large ring towards the middle, a large cage hanging from the ceiling able to be lowered upon the sparring circle for more brutal matches. Lighting is bright, via windows and ceiling lights.
Playroom/Fetish Room: This room in the house is where the kink play the mistress and her family really starts to show. Various tools of bondage line two walls, from handcuffs to leather bonds from classic whip to cat-o-nine tails. All custom made of course, to make sure they can endure even the strongest of visitors to the room. A basic stone slab table placed in the center of the room, with a classic bondage cross in the far left corner from the entry way perspective. A wall with chains hanging from it, unusually long for purpose of pulling the body apart when a certain button is pressed. Possibly quite literally tearing it apart, if the one in question was cruel enough. Low lighting in this room, to keep a constant foreboding air for those submissive to their master. Those not dressed for the occasion can find a few cages lined along the southern wall, with a variety of outfits. There is also a large chest of sextoys to be found next to the flogging/whipping tools.
Balcony: the balcony is designed out of heavy oak. Extending out a small ways, one could easily see most of the northern end of the mansion's grounds making for quite a beautiful view. Especially if there are guests loitering around the hot springs, but that's a different note. Some large candles were placed in the four corners of the balcony, giving the area a nice aroma when they're lit. A few lounging chairs were placed out, giving the hint for sunbathing provided the sun was out. Those wanting a drink while they relax can get one from the minibar on the west side of the balcony.
