Mara:
Mara is a pimp. A demon pimp, who was (re)born and raised in LA, where she was one of the more normal residents of the city. Shortly after her twenteth (mortal) birthday, she met a young angel, who hadn't earned her name yet and was trapped on earth until she did. Mara collared her, and named her, for lack of a better name, Angel.
Mara is an OLD demon, although she is not the oldest one, not by a long shot. She is old enough to remember being a true angel, and to remember the Fall. She was reborn in LA as a mortal(ish) to a demon family due to a long, tedious, and did I mention LONG story. If you ask her, prepare for a few days of talking.
Ordinarily, Mara wears jeans and a t-shirt under a leather biking jacket. When she wants to hide her horns, she wears a motorcycle helmet. She does own a BMW motorcycle, which she fuels by pure firmament.
Now they live in a small apartment near the park, making a steady living off of Mara's prostitution business.

Ralmar, Mara has taken a further step outside of the demonic hierarchy. Also, she is beginning to remember her pre-Fall form, although she still is very much so demonic, at least in appearance
Angel:
Angel is...an angel. Actually, part of the lowest chorus of angel, so low that she doesn't really have a voice. She can talk, but she doesn't have the powers that angels are usually seen possessing, and she doesn't really talk much anyway. She is indebted to Mara for saving her, and she has begun to like the demon, who is not too cruel to her...unless someone's paying to see.
Angel wears a simple dress, or cloth pants, with a collar pulled up around her collar to hide it.
Angel can access angelic powers, but they drain her, and after spending so much time on earth, no one is certain if it will kill her or not.
Oh yes, since coming to Earth, Angel has become a preacher, although she preaches to ALL churches, even the stranger ones. She really likes the Serbian Orthodox Church of Nicola Tesla, and often carries their relics
