Description:
Marek is a Soul Wielder, a person who has successfully transformed a part of his soul into a living weapon. And he's a particularly powerful and dangerous one at that. This is because Marek is also a hunter of other Soul Wielders. Since Soul Wielders are extremely rare, it's not often that one ever discovers that there are others aside from his or her self. But those that do may discover that they are capable of absorbing the weapons of fallen Soul Wielders, to make their own weapon more powerful. Doing so for the first time gives them the ability to sense the location of the nearest other Soul Wielder, thus changing them into a hunter. Marek has successfully slain four other Soul Wielders and absorbed their weapons, making him immensely powerful.

Abilities:

Lightning Element: Marek boasts control over lightning, a power not to be taken lightly. He can throw lightning bolts with pinpoint precision, and can also wrap it around his blade for dangerous shock attacks.

Lightning Transport: Marek can transform himself into lightning to move at high speeds. His destination however, is only accurate to within a few feet. Such accuracy is not enough for combat, so he mostly only uses it for long distance travel.

Paralyze magic: Marek's lightning has the odd quality of being able to paralyze the magical abilities of his opponents instead of their limbs, making them suddenly unable to use magic against him, or at all for that matter. The effect wears off after only a few minutes, but with one's magic powers gone, they don't usually live long enough to get them back. Even if they did, Marek could simply paralyze them again. This doesn't affect Soul Wielder abilities, only natural magic.

Rakurai-jū:
Marek's sword, Rakurai-jū, or "Lightning Beast" Is a powerful lightning based Soul Weapon. Its control over its element is second to none, and affords Marek unparalleled enhancements to his natural abilities. It's base form is a Katana, but it is capable of transforming into a spear for more deadly attacks... Though this transformation is rarely necessary. Like all Soul Weapons, Rakurai-jū is capable of taking on the form of a living being... And in Rakurai-jū's case, not a friendly one either...
