DESCRIPTION:

Mark Bryan a human male 5" 10", medium build not overly muscular but in shape. A magical book grants him the ability to change his size, age, form and species and yes even sex. The book is unpredictable at times its use comes at a cost.

NOTE: He prefers to be human but if that is a problem for you he can be a furry, plant like, lizard like, a dragon or even a piece of sentient food. I am opened.

BACKGROUND:

Mark’s High School experience was far from pleasant being the target of bullies which could explain being shy and untrusting. He obtains two degrees from college. Master’s in Computer Science and Social Psychology. He joined the army and due to his creative problem solving was recruited by the NSA and became a spy for awhile.

Hobbies include Crypto zoology and Mythology which drives him to understand legends and Mythical Creatures. Thirst for knowledge motivated a trip to England to find Camelot or the legendary Crystal Cave.

Questioning some locals Mark obtained information about a cave in Wales that was emitting an eerie glow at times through the night. Following direction given him Mark found the cave. Venturing carefully into it however due to his lack of spelunking experience he slipped and fell into a deep cavern. Mark thought he was going to die from the impact but to his surprise a few feet before hitting the floor of the cave his descent slowed resulting in a soft landing. Looking around for a way out he discovered there was none. The cave was made up of crystals not ice but crystals warm to the touch. In the center of this beautiful cave was a book on a pedestal like it was intently placed there. Approached it he was surprised to find it opening slowly on its own. Suddenly surrounding him boomed a deep voice radiating great power and wisdom. An ancient voice.

“Take the book. It is yours. Use it wisely and carefully. Anything you desire will be yours by using the book. The book will give you anything that you want but beware perhaps not in the way you want it. As time goes on you will master the book and your own powers should you survive.”

“Who is it?” He inquired.

“A wise old young man.”

“What is your name?”

“I am known by many. I am your ancestor. Most know me as Merlin.”

“Where are you? I don’t see you.”

“I am with you and will be so hence forth. Now go. Leave this place.”

Mark looked at the page that was opened to him. The page was blank but when he touched it writing appeared upon it. The words appeared to be written in some type of blood. The language in which it was written was not initially recognizable to him except that it was ancient. The more he attempted to decipher it the more it eluded him. Deciding on a new tactic Mark just look at it and reached out to it with his mind. To his surprise this worked. It was a spell of teleportation. A spell that not only would spell freedom but would in fact teleport him to anywhere. In response to reading the spell out loud the book gave off an eerie glow which engulfed him. When the glow faded he was back home. Something strange though, there was a park where there wasn’t one before. Some force drew him to the park. An overwhelming desire to enter it and explore the mysteries that it had to offer.
