Maruko is a kind, sweet Elf girl who wants nothing more than to make friends and be normal. Unfortunately, she gets a bit peckish sometimes. It makes sense, after all; she was raised alongside her much crueller sister in an Elven society that sees humans as little more than meat. Despite her voracious instincts, Maruko still feels that it is ethically wrong to eat humans, a sentiment that has led to constant bickering with her sister.
Sick of hearing Maruko complain, her sister cast a hex on the poor girl as a prank. Now, the wayward elf is cursed with astronomically terrible luck! Now, whenever Maruko is near another girl, some horrible coincidence or act of clumsiness will occur. It could be anything, a trip and tumble, a fumbled kiss, an awkward collision. The one certainty, however, is that some poor girl is going down the other's throat, with or without either party's consent.
