IMPORTANT
An alternate, nineteen year-old version of this character is the founder of the PRM as part of an ongoing group roleplay. In this AU, Mathieu's parents were eaten when he was five and he learned to live on the streets, occasionally eating predators in self-defense. Full of anger that is tempered by a desire to see good in everyone, even the most ruthless predators, he seeks the most peaceable means possible to improve the lot of his kind.

FOR BASIC ROLEPLAYING
Mathieu is a 10 year old pup born from genetic experimentation. When Apex, the contract group responsible for developing new bioweapons, went under, they abandoned Mathieu by the roadside at just a few months of age, expecting him to die. He was raised by a bartender who found him drinking thrown out spoiled milk and raised him. However, when Mathieu was eight, the man passed away, and when the state came to take custody of the pup, he was nowhere to be found.
Now, Mathieu lives alone, out of a small house made of tinfoil, plywood, and cardboard, and does odd jobs for food. He's undergoing some changes, becoming more amorous, to put it mildly. But he's kindhearted and loves to help others, in spite of his shortcomings. Secretly, he desires some sort of family, but thinks that the best way isn't to be outright adopted, but to form lasting bonds over time, if possible. However, he is very quick to trust others, so this might not take as long as you would think.
It's important to note that Mathieu is very curious, and won't hesitate to approach women whom he sees as a potential mother or sister figure. He tries to show restraint, understanding civility, but he's also very impulsive. He's also very submissive, only becoming aggressive when insulted, and even then he's very easily intimidated.

OLDER MATHIEU

Generally played as a 16-20 year old, the older form of Mathieu is more self-confident, but still inexperienced and naive. He's not quite as impulsive, but still eager to please. He's very focused on his dream to become a master chef, but for most other things he's very laid back, and is playful as ever. Dating RPs and high school/college shenanigans are enjoyed with this version of the character.

In an alternate, and largely more canon storyline, he simply exists as a ten-year-old Inumimi, found as a puppy by Alexses on a rainy day in 2189. She kept him as a pet, until one day she decided to raise his status in a rather intimate manner, whereupon the boy admitted his longtime admiration for her. They became lovers, and on one beautiful spring day, his dream came true when he became Alexses's husband. In this canon, he is only 4'9".

Then, on January 13 the next year, Alexses gave birth to six beautiful babies. Eric, Melissa, Mike, Amanda, Ellie, and Timmy. They mean the world to him and he does his best to be a good father.

Divergent timelines.

1: Mathieu and Suzune have teamed up, not just as an expectant young couple, but as a sort of heroic duo... well, Suzune's the hero, and Mathieu will do his best to help. For the most part though, their experiences are mundane, but wonderful.

2. As of February 2nd, 2014, Serana_Nyan and Mathieu are expecting children! (There seems to be a pattern here...)

3. And SamusAran and him are married and are expecting! (Yep. Definitely a pattern.) They had their babies on June 1, 2014. Their names are virginia, Rodney, Jennifer, and Kevin. They also had twin boys on March 10, 2015 named Sylax and Adam.

4. Oh, my. The pup is at it again. On November 29th, 2015, he knocked up Tamatha.
