Naturally, this meant she never really gained much experience in them. And as any good adventurer knows, experience is everything to skill. So when the 'chosen' time came in a call from her own worshipped Goddess, well...
Melaena was not ready. Despite this, she headed outward. Off into the dangers of the wild... hoping that maybe. Just maybe. Her goddess would grace her with a far stronger partner that would help her gain the experience she so desperately needed.
