Melissa Grimm, as some may know her, is a Storybook Woman. Within her body lies thousands of stories: fairy tales, fables, adventures and romances alike. With a whisper she can bring these stories to life, creating vivid imagery that flashes before a listener's eyes like a film. Those who draw closer to the woman may find themselves pulled into the stories to play the actual role of the heroes, living through the adventure like a dream before waking up back in the woman's arms...
Melissa's powers, however, do not stop at telling stories. She is a collector, traveling across worlds to meet the genuine heroes behind the great stories and to offer them the chance to immortalize their story--and themselves--as a part of her. For every story within her body one would find an equal number of heroes who had agreed to abandon their earthly lives to become part of the Storybook Woman, their souls locked into her body now reliving the struggles and triumphs of their own stories for all of eternity.
