Mellek

Mellek Morrd is an anthropomorphic grey wolf of age 25, who stands at about 6'3" with a build a bit on the chubbier side for his kind. While he may be a wolf, he is a bit notorious among others for not being very good at doing wolf things. True, he is a large mainly-carnivorous mammal and that is biologically designed to be quite capable of hunting, but his soft heart and unathletic form make him less inclined to do so. Fast-food, beer, or instant ramen tend to be a greater draw for him, though he does on occasion accept willing prey into his kitchen... Especially since he isn't the wealthiest wolf in town.

While he does tend to be safer for prey species to hang around with than many wolves, he does end up on on the flip side of the coin more often, too. Wolves can be tough prey to catch, and aren't often the preferred prey of most other carnivores. But a solitary one with a build like Mellek's? Well... He's certainly gotten some unexpected attention, even from other wolves.

Given his overall situation, it might sound odd to say he's not actually bothered by it at all. He likely wouldn't have the friends he does have if he were a more dangerous carnivore, doesn't mind being less intimidating, and even secretly has a fantasy of ending up as prey himself...
