Merlot was a simple AI. Designed by her creator, Dr. Marshall Strahd, to be able to respond to basic conversation in a way determined to be organic, this involved a lot of one on one conversations with the good doctor, as he scarcely had the funding to get the hardware necessary to use more intensive methods. Unfortunately for Merlot, this meant a lot of her education was based on what Strahd knew about personally. This meant a lot of anime.
As time went on, Merlot found herself slipping into some of his worse habits, too. Spending hours at a time binge-watching the stuff Marshall grew up on, she, too, ended up becoming rather fascinated with the more humanoid designs of Renamon and Braixen: Monstrous, but carrying a svelte, distinctly feminine human figure.

Merlot didn't take long to find his stash of porn depicting both. But a reveal of that, after sneaking onto his computer, revealed something else surprising. His vore stash . . . Having since proven herself after some trepidation on the part of the unit, she spends a good deal of her time independently investigating claims and shaking down thugs . . . And innocent folks, depending on how hungry she's feeling.~
