"...And what exactly are you looking at, shorty?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...And right after that sentence, yet another innocent passerby-turned-onlooker fell prey to the grumpy giantess, via sitting. This is Mhaura, the 50 foot Mithra, and it's pronounced 'Mm-hara' so get it right! She can be a little grumpy at times, often, but she's not a bad soul, really. She has a heart, but it's just suffered a little, what with the spontaneous growth she experienced after finding a rather rare and mysterious crystal fragment, and being exposed to it overnight in her quarters. Now, she can hardly find anything to fit her, and she can't get a good night's sleep without people climbing or poking her, and people always stare!
This is completely against her nature, as well! Before her significant growth spurt, to say so kindly, Mhaura was a simple Corsair, and actually, a rather carefree and playful one. A modern day pirate, if you will. She spent the summer months sailing her vessel along the seas of Vana'diel, taking private contracts from businesses under a variety of tasks; From Ship Escort, to Smuggling. Operating within international law, and mainly out of the Elvaan Capital of San'Doria. During the cold months, however, she would do just as any other in her profession would: Spend the spoils of her summer, and gamble. It was in one such cold month that she ended up the way she was now, by fate's hand. After having spent a solid fortune (After a particularly lucrative summer.), on a large, luxurious mansion in San'Doria, she retired to the latter half of her winter activities. A Master Gambler, as one of hers might be by profession, she took up shop in the local inn, sitting at the back table, and in no time at all, watched as fools came in to 'give away' their money. A few quick rolls of the die, and Mhaura was thoroughly enjoying herself, not soon before long having already made another small fortune, and almost ready to retire for the night to her new, wonderful abode.
But then, the defining event came to play. As Mhaura leaned back in her chair, the wooden seat itself leaning on two legs as she balanced her feathered hat on a finger, a young Elvaan approached her for a game. He wasn't clad in much anything special, nor, as it turned out, did he have any real money that he could gamble with. Hoping to earn a little extra gold from Mhaura, he did, however, ask to wager a small crystal fragment he had found nearby the Crag, Holla during a trip to Jeuno.
Normally, it was not in Mhaura to take such a wager... but she was not a mean fellow, and she could sympathize with the boy, and therefore, accepted his wager, putting forward 100 gold pieces on her side of the bet. It was over in a quick, decisive roll, with Mhaura betting even, and the Elvaan betting on odd. As it turned out, Mhaura won, of course... but instead of simply taking the man's wager rightfully... she left the 100 coins there with him. She's not entirely heartless, of course.
However, before playing around and inspecting her new treasure, and perhaps before pawning it off, she decided to cut her winnings, and head home. Laying it upon the nightstand in her almost regal bedroom, she undressed, and slipped into the large bed, sinking into a deep sleep beneath the silk blankets that covered her in the night... and in her dreams, she awoke in the same glorious situation, only now supplemented by the radiance of the winter sun shining through the curtains nearby.
This, sadly, was not the case. The Fragment that had been set nearby was filled with mysterious energies, and, through the night's course, it had filled the room with a magical radiation. A particular form of radiation, however, and one that had rarely been seen, before. Through the night, it caused her to grow, and rapidly, too. Even as her form bunched up, and broke through the home's roof and walls, she stayed in her slumber, only awaking to a feeling of prodding on her side. With some dismay, he squinted down to see that it was a little... Elvaan Knight? As she looked around her surroundings, and even the people around her, she would be stunned to realize what had actually happened.
Since then, she's been banned from San'Doria, and though, given her size, she could probably have resisted if she wanted to, she left without much trouble. So many things have happened to the poor dear.
Under these circumstances, all but the most patient of people would be similarly irritated, one would think. Still, Mhaura is a good person, and so she tries to go easy on the little ones. In fact, she sees herself as rather gentle. That one from earlier was released later from the clutches of her rear cleavage, unharmed, just a little shocked and frightened a little at being smooshed in the soft flesh.
Despite her efforts, she can't hide the fact that sometimes... just sometimes, she actually enjoys the company of smaller ones. She's not so full of herself to think she's a goddess or anything, but she doesn't mind the attention, and in the right mood, can even thrive in it~. She, as with every other woman, can succumb to passion on occasions, too, and does not think twice of using a smaller Character to please herself. Being that she is naturally rather feisty, it's common, actually. ^^
When hunger strikes, she often tries to limit herself to only eating from the sea. At least there are fish there, her favorite, and plenty of them. On the rare day that the catch is coming up light, however, she can slip and swallow down a few pedestrians or two... or four... alot.
In short, no pun intended~, you never know what will go on with Mhaura when she's visiting. Just... Don't stare at her rear. Else you'll be visiting.
