BIO: Miratrai comes from a far future where things like space travel and synthetic humans exist, and one of the many governments were looking to create synthetic clones of other species. Snake folk just happened to come first on their list. Mira was an unwilling test subject to a series of experiments that would eventually lead towards his full mechanization, so that scientists and engineers could utilize the gathered data and the blue prints to create synthetic snake folk from scratch. These experiments have resulted in some parts of his body being replaced with synthetic components, such as his entire left arm and his eyes.

However, before he was completely mechanized, the space station that housed the secret laboratory was invaded by a separatist faction, causing the security teams to be spread thin in order to combat the threat. Mira took this opportunity to escape, but breaking out of his cell resulted in the station's self-destruct protocol to automatically activate. Panicking, he activated the first portal gateway he came across and punched in a random location before jumping inside. The portal closed behind him as the station detonated itself and wiped out all traces of the laboratory.

And now the only tools he has at his disposal are a hammerspace storage pouch he stole from the lab on his way out, an Arm Cannon he can toggle on and off from his normal arm, and a goverment-level user interface that gives him access to tools like advanced scanning, heat vision, precise aiming, among other features. Even with all of these tools and a lingering predatory instinct, Mira was still separated from his world and everything he once knew the moment he jumped through that portal, and he has to deal with constant homesickness and a sense of not belonging. For now, his main source of sustenance comes from bounty hunting.
