The fluff-head invasion continues~

Miss... uh... Miss tea... chef... Er, Mist Chiff at your service! Hehe!

... yeah, she has no clue how to pronounce her last name. She only knows what chiffon -is- because that nice shopkeeper guy Kourin told her once, and she promptly stole the sheer fabric's name for her own. But anyway, meet one of the many fairies living in the Forest of Magic, the rather young Misty Chiffon! She's a bit short compared to some of the more famous fairies like Cirno and Sunny Milk, but most fairies are only a few inches tall, so she's quite proud of her two feet, one centimeter of height!

... yeah, like most of the fairies of the land of Gensokyo, she's a class-9 fluffhead. Playful, silly, very much a goofball and prankster, and with nary an intelligent thought in her head! Well, most of the time. To put things simply, as the embodiment of a natural phenomenon, Misty is immortal! That doesn't mean she can't be hurt, mind, but if one were to squish the poor dear, she'd just perish momentarily in a puff of mist and reappear a short while later, not one iota the worse for wear.

That's right, embodiment of nature. Every yousei is the embodiment of one aspect or another of nature, even if it's a very simple phenomenon like "the rattling of rolling pebbles" or "the opening of flower petals". Because of this, it's impossible to get rid of them, since their existence is tied to a phenomenon that would be impossible to remove entirely, and they grow stronger near their "source" (and consequently weaker in a place far removed from it).

In Misty's case, she's simply the embodiment of dew. Because of this, and because of when dew starts to condense... well, she's actually a fairly rarely seen yousei when you get down to it. She wakes in the evenings when the air starts to get cold, and is most active at night, so not many humans are even awake when she's in her most prankish mood. Of course, since fog is closely related to dew and the two often appear together, she's also quite active on foggy days, leading to a number of scary stories about the fog told in the human village that would make her giggle like crazy if she were ever around to hear them!

Anything else of note? Well, as noted before, she's exactly one centimeter taller than two feet (she always puts it that way, she thinks it makes her sound taller than her friend Lainy) and tends to dress in long clothes. Not much of a bust to speak of, not that she minds so much. She also absolutely does not mind getting wet, for obvious reasons. Powers? Not much beyond the usual set of spellcards that everyone in Gensokyo has, plus an ability to manipulate dew (she likes trying to prank humans by making the dew on spider webs spell out letters for some odd reason). Also she can breathe normally underwater, meaning she's fairly often found at the Misty Lake too.

One more little quirk... she -loves- fabrics. All sorts if she can get her hands on them, but sheer materials and silk most of all. Which, combined with her fluff-head nature, makes her quite the little cloth-thief... including exactly what you might think she'd steal, yes. Of course, this also leads to problems... she has a number of houses, since she tends to forget about them so often that she remembers exactly one at any given time, and quite a few of them are near, on, or even -in- the water... and wet silk isn't exactly easy to get out of for a fairy that's gotten herself tangled up in it... it's certainly one time when breathing underwater comes in very handy!

Still, that's Misty for you. Silly little fluff-head~
