Miyabi Hasegawa is a normal girl, if a little on the soft-spoke side. Miyabi enjoys many of the same things that most girls her age do; hanging out with friends, shopping, and listening to music, though she's rarely up to date on the latest trendy clothes. She is not shy, per say, merely quiet. She prefers only to speak when she has something worth saying.
Despite her nerdy looks, Miyabi only gets average grades and is an active participate in several after-school clubs related to physical activity. She's one of the rising aces of the tennis team and is also on the JV swim team. She joined the swim team to hang out with Junko, and Junko joined the tennis team to hang out with Miyabi.
Miyabi and Junko have been inseparable since childhood and grew up living only a few doors down from each other. Where the impulsive, active Junko went, Miyabi was rarely far behind. The two are the best of friends. But now that they're older, Miyabi is starting to wonder if she wants them to be something... more.
