History

Born as the second child to the Merchant House of Threnodite, Miz was not expected to inherit the family business. And despite years of pushing him into one apprenticeship after another, his family never quite managed to push him into a "respectable" career as the Genasi boy simply continued to explore the world around him, eager to learn and experience more. Given they couldn't simply disown him without damaging their reputation, they settled for letting him live away from home, with financial backing for whatever he desired so long as he didn't embarrass the family name.

Since then, Miz has spent this considerable fortune exploring the unknown. Travelling to dangerous places simply to discover what's there, and see what he hasn't seen before. He'll occasionally pick up work here and there as an adventurer, but usually for the potential contacts he could make or companions he could travel with, rather than any desire for a financial reward.
