It's been a long time, since Chrysalis ruled over the changelings. Hailing from a much darker, brutal equestria, filled with violence, monstrosities from the void.... Leftovers of an apocalypse that had already happened. The changelings had begun to die out as less and less love could be found in the world, replaced by hatred and mistrust.... Many generations past Chrysalis' lifetime, a young to-be-queen of what remained had an idea.... Changelings fed on love, yes, but rather than steal it by pretending to be someone's lover... Why not spread it around the world until anywhere they look, they can get just a little bit of sustenance? After all, if everyone loves the changelings, won't they, as a race, be far better off? Wouldn't everyone?

It's a long road, she has ahead of her..... One that won't easily be traveled down, not with the reputation she has to deal with, and the general attitude of the ponies in her world.... She had to think of a short term solution, too, otherwise her people would starve before she could complete her goals.

Using what little power she could muster, she opened a permanent portal from the hive, linking her world with that of the Nexus park... In an attempt to find a source of love, at the very least positive emotion, in the meantime. Both herself and her changelings can be found here, and they're a *lot* nicer than someone savvy in the universe of my little pony would expect. Still.... They *are* naturally predators, even if not of body, so at least some measure of caution would be suggested.....


Basically, dearie, I'd much rather nom on someone than the other way around, but if it would make you happy, I will not stop you from eating me... I only ask that you be gentle, as I would never hurt you, were our positions reversed.
