There's an old tale they tell about a boy who was born from the pit of a peach, floating downriver. When a fisherman and his wife split open the peach to eat it, they found the boy inside; without any kids of their own, they adopted him and called the boy "Momotaro", or "Peach Boy". When he became a young man, the boy set out to defeat a marauding band of demons who had been terrorizing the countryside.. storming their fort, and beating them back until he captured the leader's head plundered them for all their treasure. Much of the treasure was returned to the people they had stolen from, and the remainder was given to his mom and dad to repay them for their kindness. After that, Momotaro set back out for a life of adventure, eager to see the world.

That young man, Son Momotaro, recently arrived here at Eka's Park.

An incredibly curious individual, Momotaro will often approach those who seem the most interesting to him, or whoever he has questions for, and will bombard them with those questions nonstop until he's content with the answers. Having been born in the secluded countryside, he knows little of technology and modern life, and having only known the old couple who raised him, he hasn't seen many species.. nor was he raised with concepts like "personal space" in mind. He's been known to poke, prod, pinch and pester other people, sometimes even licking them, things they're wearing or objects they're holding, if he thinks it looks tasty or could be food.

Being a monkey, he's incredibly nimble; it's almost impossible to knock him off balance (although, like anyone else, enough sheer overpowering force will bring him down) and with the help of his long, primate tail, he can hang or swing from things like branches or poles with ease. Momotaro's primary manner of defense is the polearm he carries with him, with which he was able to beat back the demons plaguing his home. While not incredibly strong, he can wear down an opponent with the pole and strike their nerves with surprising precision. However, Momotaro's one major fault is that he's very gullible, and is apt to fall for tricks and lies which may lead him into situations he can't get out of. On top of that, his simple mind is easily swayed by things like mind control, hypnosis, or intoxication.. his mental will is nothing spectacular.

Finally, Momotaro tastes and smells rich of peaches. Does his hair smell like peaches? Yes. Does his skin taste like peaches? Yes. Do his bodily fluids like saliva and semen taste and smell like peaches? Also yes. Momotaro has retained his namesake for much of his life, unsurprisingly, by snacking on peaches, which are his favorite food (and garnish, for the occasional prey.)
