Such was the case for the magical girl Monoka. At the age of ten, the young girl awoke to find her house in ruins, and the Dark Queen herself standing over her father's body, hand raised and pointed directly at her. Knowing from the readings of her Black Tarot that Monoka would one day become a threat to her, she had come to destroy her before she could realize her powers... and had the planet's hope Hakami not appeared and interfered, the first day of Monoka's loneliness would have been the last of her life. As it stood, the trauma awakened the dark magical girl's powers, and together Hakami and Monoka drove the Big Bad howling back to her floating fortress to recover. Satisfied that she had retreated, Hakami turned her attention to Monoka, curious. Thus began the two girls' friendship and training, the two children who had been born on the same day going into hiding together, each helping the other to discover the full extent of their powers even as darkness spread across the planet, gathering their strength to fell the Empress when the time finally came.

And so it was that as the armies of Evil laid their final siege to the last remaining free town on the planet, the plains were suddenly lit by a piercing light, and the armies fell back in the path of two shining champions. The Evil One fled to her fortress and barred the gates, but the ancient, enchanted silver simply dissolved as the two forced entry, and lit up the sky in a final climactic battle... and, as is always the case in these tales, the enemy was overcome and defeated, the Darkness scattered with the loss of its conduit and champion, and the world returned to normal at last.

But, for Monoka, it did not return. Hakami's identity remained secret, but many had seen the girl of light carrying her unconscious companion, reverted to her ordinary self, out of the castle... and all knew soon enough exactly who it was. Her powers, sorrow-based and "dangerous", were feared... and of course, sealing away the greatest evil the galaxy had ever seen in a dimension of pure evil had done nothing to bring back her mother and father, leaving Monoka to become just another girl "lost in the system". Abuse and neglect followed her hand-in-hand, and she found herself shuttled all over the planet, deprived always of any truly supportive figure in her life.

Even Hakami was torn away from her side, her closest and only friend called off of the planet entirely for months at a time. For Big Bads rarely ever truly die, especially if their opponents are magical girls that stubbornly refuse to kill them. The seal was made, and the Dark One was barred from that planet, but in other places in the galaxy, that dark dimension impacted ours, and her forces poured through to wreak havoc. Monoka, naturally, was barred from these missions, and not a single family allowed her to follow Hakami to the stars; the one time she tried, she was beaten on her return and shipped off to the next family. And then, when Monoka was fourteen, Hakami was called out to a desolate planet on the Outer Rim... and then to another planet, and another... until Monoka gave up hope of ever seeing her magical companion ever again.

It was on her sixteenth birthday that Hakami finally returned, not even bothering to transform back as she flew straight to Monoka and appeared in her room... to find the girl home alone, her latest family off enjoying a movie while Monoka remained alone on her birthday. Before Monoka knew it, she had transformed, and was flying away from the house at top speed in Hakami's arms, gazing at the ground and reflecting on how deep their relationship had grown even in despite of the absences. At her home, Hakami busied herself with cake and decorations, and within a few hours Monoka was having the first actual birthday party she'd had in four years.

Monoka's head was a whirl. Her Hakami had finally returned to her from the stars, and was even celebrating their birthday with her. But she knew afterwards she would have to return to her "family" and endure punishment for going out without permission, and for using her powers... and Hakami, she knew in her heart, would soon be taken away again, perhaps even longer this time. She could see the exhaustion in Hakami's face, too, when she finally stopped with the preparations, the galaxy's champion worn out immensely from over a year of battling the darkness, seeking out the darkness to battle, and travelling from planet to planet so that she could... fight the darkness. But the clincher came when the girl's magi-com received a transmission calling Hakami away again... this time to the galactic center, where the darkness had apparently been amassing its forces while Hakami was away on the Outer Rim. And when Monoka begged to be brought along, the President not only forbid it, but threatned to have his troops blast Monoka from the sky if she tried to come along.

Monoka would not allow her heart to be torn away again. Especially to fight an incursion so large that rumor had it the Queen herself was preparing to break through... a fight both girls knew that Hakami, worn as she was, could not win on her own. And so, she used a power she had learned during their weeks of training... their powers' ability to interfere with one another. As Hakami rose and hugged her friend, promising to be back within a week this time, she found herself suddenly reverted to her normal form... and a handful of heartbeats later, Monoka's cervix had closed and sealed the girl inside, her magic ensuring that barely a bulge showed from Hakami's presence. Monoka left the house a few minutes later, making for the shuttle port as Hakami wriggled within her, satisfied that she would not be alone again, ever.

Hakami, naturally, was rather upset about being trapped inside of anyone, even if it was Monoka holding her inside of her most special place. The dark magical girl had to suffer quite a bit of internal abuse on the long shuttle trip towards the galaxy's heart. Time wore on, however, and Monoka took perfect care of her womb's occupant... and the day that the Dark Queen did emerge, and Monoka allowed herself to be struck in the heart rather than let the blow strike her womb and potentially destroy its precious contents, Hakami finally returned every ounce of the love Monoka had for her. To Monoka's everlasting joy, Hakami pledged to remain with her, within her, forever... and their love added its strength to her powers, overcoming the Ultimate Evil in a single blow and sealing her away once again.

It was on the shuttle trip back that Monoka learned how truly wonderful it was to keep a willing, loving occupant within her... but at the same time, life remained hard on her home planet. People immediately blamed her for Hakami's strange "disappearance", and with her cervix sealing the magical girl within her, Hakami could no longer come to her defense. Thus, the loneliness returned in full force, despite Hakami constantly being with her and able to speak with her through their now-linked minds. So, Monoka hatched her plan. Though she had taken Hakami for her sixteenth birthday "present", her friend had also given her a beautiful crystal from the last planet she had fought on before returning home. This crystal was a focus, and one that turned out to be even more potent when sorrow-driven powers were channeled through it. A wild plan formed in Monoka's mind, and though Hakami was concerned, she eventually agreed to help her friend.

The next major news piece from that particular galactic sector was the sudden disappearance of an entire planet. Not destruction, just disappearance... and each day after that, another planet from the same system vanished, and another, until at last the system's very star vanished in a single hour. Rumors flew about the Dark One preparing a return again, that she had somehow found a way to draw entire planets into the dark dimension. Panic took the galaxy, until at last Monoka reappeared in the skies of the galactic center, sporting a slightly but noticeably gravid belly. Within the hour, her words were being broadcast to the panicking galaxy... outlining what had really happened to the missing star system, what her plan was now... and what would soon be happening to all of them.

It had all been Monoka, of course. With the crystal's help, the warped space inside of her womb had become positively bent, and space even bent a small ways around her. With this power, combined with Hakami's love, she had descended upon her home planet and taken every atom into her body, where Hakami had held it gently to herself, her light flowing over it and comforting the people... becoming, for the time being, their sun. The system had soon followed, and now Hakami sat gently cradling the bubble of warped space that made it possible for an entire star system to be nestled inside of Monoka's barely pregnant belly.

Via a feed that all were allowed to watch Monoka insert, to prove its veracity, Hakami greeted the viewers, assuring everyone that she was all right, and not being held within Monoka against her will. She promised to love and protect each planet as it was introduced into its new home, and even visit the various planets from time to time. She would be their light and their protector, and Monoka would hold them all within her, her body preventing the Dark One and her forces from ever entering the galaxy again. Her face beamed as she spoke of how much she was looking forward to seeing all of them.

Monoka interrupted at this point, a shy but beaming smile on her face. "And she will be," she said, pointing to the camera and then rubbing her belly gently. "All of you are going to end up right in here..." she teased, smiling and weaving the space around her. A few minutes later, the galaxy's center was in Hakami's arms, cradled and lit by her overflowing magic.

It took a few months before the entire galaxy entered her, but in the end Monoka was left floating in empty space, her womb swollen out with her entire home galaxy, and of course her Hakami, within... satisfied, now, never to be lonely again...
