FAQ
Hi! I'm
Movo, the player behind everything. I've made this FAQ here to help answer some common questions I've had and to help people who want to get to know me. It seems like it can be hard to talk to me sometimes, as I'm often wary of people and some things can be off putting to me. So hopefully this will make that easier. I try to be open, so feel free to ask questions.
When are you available?
I don't have a consistent time when I'm free. I work Monday through Friday usually around 6 AMish to 5 PMish. Even then, after I likely have things to do that might keep me occupied. Scheduling may help, but my mood can be all over the places for rp these days. Might just have to get what you can take from me sometimes. You won't bother me by asking from time to time.
Will you rp with me?
Maybe! It's hard to say as a lot of factors will determine my interest. How much I know you, my availability, what kind of alt you have, the kind of scene you're asking for. Things like that.
How do I approach you?
If we never talked, best to keep it out of character and try find common ground first. I do like really clever in character approached though, but they need to be witty or unique.
What do you like?
All sorts of stuff, sci fi, military, history, video games, cultures, and more. A lot will be evident by my cast of character.
What is an instant attention grabber for you in an rp?
Muscle gut guys, beer gut yet strong and such. Dragons, furred, demons, and such are great! Especially if played in a more aggressive romantic male who just wants to gobble down an alt. Approaching as a pred too on my switch or prey alts.
What do you dislike in an approach or just talking?
Always being IC, asking to rp as a pred, pursing things I said I don't want to do, lackluster approaches like 'Hi, how are you?' or 'Mew' or 'your cute' and things like that. First impression are important! So stand out and be unique!
How do I get you to pred?
Be patient and instigate my characters after we've talked for a bit. I seldom jump into a scene with new people and once I've gone comfortable with you, random IC jabs to agitate my alts will prompt me to have the pred mood. Instigation is my favorite way, and unwilling prey is preferred.
What should I know about how you RP?
I role-playing like a novel, third person, in paragraphs. My writing length will expand depending on the moment, but I keep the story going. Using asterisks, first person, or second person will quickly lose my interest.
Do you do exceptions?
Yes actually! For friends, people that have something that I really want, or a mood shift. But still up to my discretion.
You didn't respond to me or we haven't talked in awhile, are you mad at me?
Likely not, I might have been busy and missed your message. Sometimes I also just forgot things with how hectic my life can be and its hard to continue things, but you're always free to message me about it later. I'll let you know if I'm not interested. Even if he had issues in the past, I'm fine with burying the hatchet if I know you're sincere.
Will you alt hop for me?
If I'm accustomed to you or a friend, sure! Strangers though? Not so much.
