As a young girl in 14th century Europe, Myrrine was out casted by her family and village when it was discovered she had the powers of a witch. She eventually joined “The Cult of Rashiliyia”, a cult formed by Rashiliyia, another witch who essentially thought she was a goddess and planned to take over the world. She gathered many other witches to do this. Myrrine joined the Cult because Rashiliyia was far more understanding of Myrrine, who eventually became one of Rashiliyia’s best before the Cult was destroyed by a stronger and darker group. Myrrine was saved by a hero who later helped defeat this other group.

Myrrine stayed hidden from the world for the next 700 years. She stayed alive that amount of time, and retained her looks, by using a spell she learned in the Cult which required her to shrink and swallow a person once a year in hopes that she might find that once-in-a-lifetime person who truly knows and loves her. Despite the how much she enjoys shrinking and swallowing people she sometimes feels guilty about it.

In the modern world she is hiding from the agents of the Hunters, a secret organization created to hunt down powerful and/or dangerous objects/people and seal them away where they couldn’t harm the world.
