Nagare

"Black is just a color. Just because you attach associations to it doesn't mean they apply to me."
Hated from his birth, Nagare is a nogitsune, a black-furred kitsune traditionally associated with bad luck, poor harvest, malicious mischief, you name it. Despite the young kit's amiable nature, he had inherited his father's dark fur and was treated with either suspicion or outright hostility. Soon after attaining human form, he took an ancestral weapon and left the clan. Naturally, they called him thief and pursued him, although Nagare would point out, if anyone actually asked, that as his mother's son such a weapon was his birthright; all he did was choose one before he was technically supposed to.
Since then, the kitsune has taken to wandering. More than half a century has passed, and he's learned to be more than a little paranoid about people's intentions towards him. Precious few people failed to hate the "renegade black fox", and few of those who did actually meant their offers of friendship. Despite that, he's more indifferent these days than bitter. Humans can't help who they are or what they think; most of them never use their reasoning anyway. If they want to hate him, fine, he'll stay out of their way. So he simply wanders the various places, keeping an eye out for anything interesting or that rare person who'll actually break with dogma and at least tolerate his presence.

Physical Description: Nagare's most striking feature, and the one he hates the most, is his fur. Both his ears and his tails are pure, midnight black, with star-white tips. In his fox form, the color covers all of him except the tips of his ears and tails. Less immediately noticed are Nagare's blazing red hair, dark blue eyes, and fair skin. Overall, Nagare is decidedly attractive, something that isn't helped by his choice of clothing; a sleeveless shirt with a collar that's slightly higher than normal and baggy pants over sneakers. His glaive is also displayed right out in the open, while his katar is somewhat concealed against his side.

Possessions: The clothes on his back, a katar or two, and always his prized glaive. And his hoshi no tama, of course, but most people aren't allowed to see that.

Abilities: As are all kitsune, Nagare is skilled in the use of flame. His own are a bright ruby, more red than his hair. He can easily conjure it on his palms or his weapons, and he's currently working out how to make a luring flame (similar to a will-o'wisp) to charm and mislead his enemies. He's also reasonably skilled with the lightweight katar blade. However, most of his skills revolve around his glaive. The weapon is not only an heirloom and blessed, but contains a link to the souls of his ancestors. He's slowly learning to channel their power through the glaive, and is already capable of using it to channel the spirits themselves for guidance. While channeling, the blade glows with a ghostly, heatless white flame.
As for the vore side of things, well... he probably could swallow someone whole. Everyone in his tribe can. He hasn't really tried it out for himself. Likewise, even though he's fully capable of either draining life force or outright devouring someone's soul during intercourse (when their mind's grip on the body is weakened), he's never desired to try it out. So... *shrug* Oral and soul possible, though you'd better have a reform spell handy if you want to come back...
