"What? Uh, yeah, I absolutely got this off my catches!"

Octopus girls. Deadly hunters of the sea, able to use their curves and exotic looks and massive chests to seduce and tease men and women alike into their tentacles, where they're mercilessly toyed with, teased, and ultimately shoved into one orifice or another, turned into nothing but a slowly softening bulge. Solitary hunters, lurking far away from everyone.

At least, that's the stereotype, the ideal, the ones that get all the press. But it's not the only thing out there! No one ever talks about the flat chested octopus girls! The weaker, waifish ones that somehow managed to make it to adulthood without becoming powerful, buxxom beasts.

Naia, to her endless, eternal frustration, is one of them. At 21, she's since given up hoping for any sort of growth spurt, any hopes mostly hinging on some girl or guy she devours finally going to her chest. The problems are

1) She has the metabolism of a hummingbird.
2) If that was going to happen, you'd think it would have by now.
3) Naia is really bad at hunting people.

In fact, Naia finds humanity fascinating.. the creations! Their TV shows! Their computers! The fact that they don't live in a giant ocean where doom could swoop in from any direction at any time with 0 warning! So appealing, in fact, that she's--not exactly moved in, but is dipping her tentacle out of the water, taking up residence in a somewhat rundown beach house whose owners sluiced through some other predator's intestines (Or cock. Or pussy. She wasn't there, she just could tell someone got shoved SOMEWHERE!), stealing electricity and trying to make a living. That doesn't mean she doesn't also adore the idea of cramming a human into her, somewhere, too--she still has those predatory instincts, and, well, devouring someone (or other, lewder fates) just--is a thing that happens, right? And could happen to her, too, though at least she doesn't have to worry about 'above' and 'below' NEARLY as much when she's on land. Still, here, even on land, she's likely to be easily outclassed.

Despite this, and despite her frustration, she's still generally a cheerful sort, even in the face of certain (and potentially digestive) doom. That's just how life goes in the ocean--it's rough-and-tumble and eventually you're going to lose. Dwelling on that's a sucker's bet, and she's already got plenty of suckers.
